Well, we've picked on people for their nationality, we may as well bring in sexuality and the rest to fill up the prejordice quota

Beat it Spo! Leave me alone. I'm out to play for the evening

I'd rather much haggis than admit to being a mash eater

being a 1/4 Welsh means he gets his g/f to wear a wolly jumper and go baaaaa.... whenever they boink

If he was 1/2 Welsh she'd have to beat him with a lamb chop as well

Stock answer when asked "who are you supporting in the [insert name of football tournament here]?" is "whoever England are playing"

Something you guys will just have to live with, so get over it

ps - as a nation, we will happily support the English team in practically any sport other than Football or Rugby. Its not an anti English thing, just an anti English football/Rugby team thing.

Seconded. He cant just comeback to Wimbledon this year trying to explain that comment away. I am afraid I will never like the guy for that comment alone. I am sure he will lose no sleep over it though. Much the same as I will never like or appreciate Ronaldo for his shenanigans with Rooney in the World Cup. Another pr1ck.
BTW Nadal had Murray running round like a fool yesterday. I fear we have another Henman on our hands, on the cusp of quality, but never to achieve.

I was not very impressed with what he said about England in the World Cup either. I put it down to his youth at the time.

I will say say that his success in getting back from 2 sets and 54 down and beating Gasquet was a truly gritty effort and deserved all the praise that he got.

Playing Nadal is a different matter however, he tried his best and never gave up but Nadal is in a different league and he can't be blamed for losing that time. The only man who might sort Nadal is Fedorer.

Give Murray more time and experience and we could see a winner.

DD, it makes absolutely no difference to me. I only quoted what he supposedly said and that's his view (and so you say the view of 99% of Scots). To me its childish and serves no purpose, you know, a pointless waste of time.

Personally I don't get it and hold no preference for sporting events except may the best person/team win. Talent impresses me not politics.

Have a good wee day.

I'm single, but as you're from a Derbyish location can I borrow one of your sheep?

Oh How I'm going to enjoy sitting in the Trent End chanting this coming season. I may even go to Pride Park to do the same, although it doesn't look like they've finished building it
We hate Derby, we hate Derby,
We hate Derby, we hate Derby,
We hate Derby, we hate Derby,
We are Derby haters.
