What this "news" has done id kill the secondhand performance car market dead in its tracks!

At the start of this year i was gonna look for a fairly new sti (03/05), but your fcuked if im giving away 450 a year in tax, so ill stick with my imported classic!

It`s cropped up again as it appears that Mr Brown`s maths is very poor.

He initially told Parliament that the majority of motorists would be better off. It now appears that 43% of motorists will actually be worse off. The percentage of motorists that will be better off is around 18%. When I was at school I was under the impression that for the majority to be better off the figure should be over 50%.

State pensions have always been like that, the current employed pay for the current retired, you're not making provision for your own future. Hence why the aging population is such a problem for this model, more retired people and not enough in work to fund it.
