Fine mate , Well as good as can be @ the mo !!
If this Focus RS Is a touch on the ole womans ST & Im sure it will be 100% better this is going to be one hell of a car
If i get the choice of taking the ST Or the Scoob of the drive , Ther ST gets the drive everytime , Much to Mrs Esc's annoyance

Just me then thinking you've all gone mad
The current ST has worst fuel consumption than ours (in an untuned guise) and is only FWD. Fine it may be quite good in the dry, even excellent but the one thing that impresses me most about ours is the 4wd.
Frayz has slagged off the current ST on nearly every occasion that it has ever been discussed, why is the new RS going to be soo much better when its STILL only FWD?
Given the apparent new Impreza coupe will be available in RWD (lower power) or 4WD (higher power) I can see the potential for a proper tuning on the RWD variant and making a right good old-school hooligan car
Ford with a Vulva (sorry Volvo) engine - does nothing for me.
The Ford boys will love it and I am sure there will be endless MKI Focus RS v ST v MKII RS debates but if you left the Subaru camp for that then I think you'll be disappointed come the first greasy roundabout.

The new RS has a completely different setup to that of the current ST and that includes an all new diff from Quaife and completely different front suspension geometry and layout. Everything on the RS has been honed for awesome handling, minimum torque steer and maximum power to the road. The RS has a much more special look to it than the ST, better interior, better seats better everything.
Ford have always made exceptional chassis and cars that are renowned for their handling. (Did you see top gear testing the current ST in the wet and it created enough grip to lift the rear wheel on cornering... in the wet!)
The fiesta ST laps tracks just as quick as its competators with less power.
Yes the fuel economy is very poor on the current car but i belive the RS will be no worse maybe better on a much better ECU caliberation than the current I5 volvo lump.
I honestly belive the new RS is going to be showing the scooby and evo boys a thing or 2. Years ago, lots of ponies through the front end used to be a nightmare to control but with the use of modern technology and electronics i think it will be every bit as good as the 4WD offerings.
Get one rolling and i think the RS will show a clean set of heels to both the Scoob and Evo... and dont think the twisties will be helping out here either. 4WD doesnt create any more grip... it only aid traction and putting the power down. If Ford can get the RS to put the power to the road (and i think they can) i think they will have an absolute stonker of a car.
Not to mention the price... £25k for a sub 6 second 0-60mph car??
With looks and interior to die for over the competitiors? 300/300 setup and handling to match?
Nothing comes close in my opinion.
The RS is back and it will be mentaller than ever in stock form.... just wait till the likes of the big tuning boys get hold of em.

Got to agree with the above comments. Subaru should be having a long and hard look at itself. It appears that they really know how to distance themselves from what the buying public want
The car in green looks stunning I wonder if they'll do me a limited edition in Terzo blue

pacifica blue or imperial blue as per proper RS colours, pretty close to Terzo Blue
Its one hell of a good looking car and looksvery much like a rally car from stock, 19" rims as standard. I will seriously consider this as a next car as the new STI price has jumped £2k from the original £24k price they raved about.
4WD is the only real positive thing on its side at the moment in my books

The old FWD debate has gone on for years and years but youve got to see just how much different the all new RS is in comparisson to that of the current ST.
