We attend all the major shows and have stands which means members don't have to park in the general door dingers area

Of course don't forget all the Track days we run

I have also mentioned a few of the above topics over the last few months with no reply . The search mainly, I would like to be able to search for certain topics that I can help people with but when it's not working I can't.

Since this site has been taken over and left no one in charge it has gone down hill! I understand that internet brands can handle larger forums better, but when no one is looking after it I guess this is what happens. Passionford had been taken by the brands but they still have someone in the Uk in charge as it runs as smooth as it did before.

I wish they sort it out!

rant over

Didn't see an SIDC stand at the SSO.

No offence intended Phil, but IIRC it's now 2yrs since the SIDC attended the NBO.

If by all major shows, you only mean southern based...

Well ive decided to pay monthly and after what must be nearly a week it still hasn't been sorted, i'll give it another week if it's not sorted by then i'll be cancelling the sub.

It has gone downhill lately which is a shame.

None taken mate and a fair statement

Both the events mentioned encourage regional clubs and therefore Members are split in which stand they should be on. Which is why we didn't attend either events this year.

HOWEVER next year with the new SIDC Promo Unit you should see it North of Birmingham a little more

Be careful, you lot Southern may get a nosebleed coming too far into the northern hemisphere.

I tried the SIDC and SN(paid up on both) when I got my car 3 yrs ago, I found SN easier to "get on with" for want of a better phrase.

I find the SIDC forum, a bit of a chore to navigate(not used to it) and at times a bit snobby maybe. Whereas SN gets on my **** a bit at times, questions in Technical seem to be on a rolling basis. Decat-remap, turbo-remap, injectors-remap etc etc.

Different horses for different courses, really.

I'm not sure why my earlier post was quoted TBH, SIDC is free to use, just like here. I just miss True Grip and can't justify the two subscriptions.

We are rightly proud of True Grip

Since moving to a better platform of BB Software last year I hope the navigation issues are resolved

there are of course differences between Snet and SIDC Forums I still enjoy both for various reasons

I've no idea what SIDC is but I am guessing at Subaru Impreza Drivers Club? Been an owner and a member of various forums, even attended a couple of events in my first year of ownership and never heard of SIDC. Guess it doesn't come North of Birmingham as you say...

Perhaps you should rename SSIDC... I'll let you work that one out

this is the thrid thread that i have seen in which people have questioned why my car has been on the front page for so long and as i have previously said.

i simply followed the rules stated when uploading the images of my car

after 8 months it was picked and placed on the front page

i have said on many occasions that although i am very proud, pleased and greatful to have had my car featured (who wouldn't be). I also agree that it is time to let others have the lime light.

Im not a selfish git that wants all the fame...i've had my five minutes worth and i'm happy to step to one side... i have made this point a few times now so there isn't any more i can do

And just to clear everything up for all the doubters

no bribes where offered
no money changed hands
and no i don't own scoobynet

i followed the rules and the car got featured...simple as that

You lot sound like fecking moaning wimmins..... if all you have to moan about is:

a) Admins are thin on the ground

and

b) Wideboys car / banners need updating

Then you should count yourselves lucky, I note that most don't even pay towards the site, so in that case you have no grounds to complain at all.... and for those that have, well best you start posting your concerns in bugs / policy rather than bitching on this thread

I pay monthly via paypal, but for some reason I don't show up as a full member anymore

My PM inbox is also full now due to me having more than 50 PM's and only being a "full member".

I've paid the £5 and joined up for 12 months Memberplus for the draw competitions mainly - of course they stopped and after getting Simon's wrath for complaining about that we had one more draw and since then (months and months) there has been nothing.

It's a shame - lots of nice new features and promises - site gets sold then it all stops. Pity.

My plus membership is due up this month and I'm not renewing it.

As I stated above I would pay my £5 and become a full member on SN but why should I when the site isn't going anywhere? Admin are putting up sh!tty advertisments from last year instead of updating them to this years. All they had to do was change two numbers and that was it.

As for complaining about Cockney Wideboys car no one is complaining about the car they are mearly complaining about the fact his car has been on the front page for so long which everyone know's isn't his fault since he isn't admin etc.

So now I ask you this...

Why should I become a fully paid up ScoobyNet member?
Just to complain freely and not be looked down on when complaining?
I don't think so pal.
Would rather save my £5 and wipe my **** with it or put it to some other use.
My £5 is staying right here untill I feel happy enough about the site.
I'm not saying it's sh!te or anything but the only thing keeping it alive is us lot.
The people who use it daily.
Admin do f**k all with it!.

It's a glitch, same as when plus members could have 'Mod' blue usernames a while back.

And yes, I am allowed to complain.

I've been looking on SIDC, if they had more forums and opened up to us Northerners then i'd probably spend more time over there to be honest.

I pay too, but feel I should pay much more given how I have taken the place over

Have noticed things have come to a bit of a standstill these days, but not hoping to get my car featured. Not sure how a Mondeo or Picasso would look on the front page

Bans are automatic, once enough infraction points have added up
Cleverly done, they're here, but at the same time, they are not
