Here we have the mighty M5 (developed by M sport at the Ring) with Ringmeister Sabine at the wheel being given a very hard time by a classic scooby.

Nice to see a 22b driven as Subaru intended!

Oddly enough 'Daz' I don't spend my entire life posting on this BBS. As for discussing options in a Subaru dealership in the unlikely event I was to take a backward step into ownership of a cheap japanese saloon car I'd be talking to a Mitsubishi dealer.

Regarding the videos I fail to see they 'prove' anything. All I've ever stated is that I never see any of these 'fast' Imprezas on any tracks I've been on. What I do see a lot of are 'fast' UK reg'd Imprezas struggling to do sub-10 min laps of the 'ring and holding people like me up with their appallingly bad driving. BTW lads all those stickers make your cars look stupid rather than cool.

I dunno mate, a few on here claim 8-9 sec laps by all accounts, a mate in his evo 8 running 370 did a 9 min lap earlier this year and he had 4 in the car! lol

8-9 sec laps!

I've seen some quick EVOs there however all the Imprezas seem to be little more than stickered up mobile road blocks driven by shaven headed fat old men.

Why do you choose to write on this forum, I seriously dont understand. IMO most people who have time spare in their busy lives to spend on forums usually go to ones on a subject they like. I like to mainly go on a few car forums from cars I like etc. I also go on a couple of golf forums because I love the game. I wouldnt even contemplate going onto a forum of something I dont like just to tell the enthusiasts of that paticular forum that what they like is rubbish & theyr shaven headed fat old men etc!! Why would you do that, I just dont get it??

Then why the f*ck are you on here then? All you seem to do is slag off the marque and its drivers

It's like me joining a Porsche owners forum and calling them a bunch of toffs the majority of which haven't a clue how to drive their car on the road never mind on the track. Personally I don't see the point.

That said, I suppose its the only way you get attention. I really do think you're a proper clown with a major inferiority complex but hey ho each to their own.

He's a troll .... SIMPLE ... so don't feed the idiot just ignore him .... although lets be fair it's fkin hard when he talks such crap (and I'm a regular troll feeder so I can't talk !

I very much doubt he's married / with GF etc probably very bitter about something, clearly has too much time on his hands maybe lacking in certain department ??? I don't know but clearly he/she's not a normal middle aged happy guy is he or he'd fk off somewhere else when he has no interest in the marque.

If the only fun this fella can get out of life ... or the only attention from people he/she can get is by slagging of owners of Subarus on a Subaru forum then I for one pity him!!!

If he has got a Porche (or in fact anything other than a peddle trike) obviously even that hasn't helped him get laid in a fkin long time or he wouldn't be so bitter!

Who says I have no interest in Subaru cars? I've owned two and would likely own another if they ever make any decent cars again.

A UK 'classic' turbo TD05 with all the normal modifications and a Legacy used as a 'station car'.

I considered buying a spec d hawkeye STi but found it a let down on the test drive.

I'll likely buy a blobeye WRX wagon when they come down to 5-7 grand as another 'station car'. Either that or a 2.5 Turbo Forester.

I don't think he should be banned, his comments were quite entertaining if not laughable. Reminds me of the "Porch" drivers in Wilmslow where i am, they very rarely go over 30 but when they do it's allways in a 30 limitWhen i moved house last year i was trundling down the M6 in the Wagon in the offside lane when from behind comes the "Porch" driver, flashing his lights for me to get out of the way, so i gladly obliged. When he was about level i dropped the cog and flored it and he could'nt get past, so he dropped back and pretended he wasn't interested. The missus said "i bet he's upset now, i said "upset!! he'll be suicidal if he knew we had three childrens cycles, a lawnmower, a set of teak garden furnature and various other household items stuffed in the back
But i can tell you for a fact that if i had the cosher, my impreza would be a station car (whatever that is) and i go out and buy a "porch" first thing in the morning from the dealer at the top of my road. Anyways, bring him back it was just getting interesting.
