The way I saw it was:
I sympathised with, and was interested in, the news about your Mum.
I thought posting on Snet when you were away was a bit sad, and coming back and bitching about your mate a step too far. I kind of turned off at that point. Seeing all the threads bouncing around on several forums just deepened that view
While I can understand and agree with venting on a forum, it works very well sometimes, but in this case you went too far and passed too much information onto (what are effectively) complete strangers. Airing your dirty washing can be embarrassing for all parties sometimes.
I think the repeated -ve's against your posts is childish at best but it DOES indicate an undercurrent of discontent from other members.
I hope this makes sense, but as said above - don't let this stop anyone from seeking advice. At the very least you will always get anothers point of view on matters and it an opens your eyes to another way of looking at stuff.

Pay for my MAF sensor replacement and I'll forgive you!
Just kidding: no apology necessary, you were having a rough time and needed to have a bitch about it; just makes you human. I would, however, suggest that forums don't always generate the most constructive responses!
All the best.

I wasn't around last week and I haven't read this thread so that makes me perfect NSR material to cast an informed, inflamatory opinion
Don't worry about it Snazy: On some days you are the pigeon and on other days you're the statue.

I would not get sensitive about it Snazy. There was nothing wrong with any of your posts and many enjoyed reading or posting in your threads I am sure, as a bit of light relief.
There will always be some smartarse around who is likely to try to do you down, more often than not out of sheer jealousy. I reckon that those who tried to criticise you would not have the gumption to keep the interest going in a thread as you did.
I wonder why they bothered to read the threads if they were so bored anyway!

For a split second your recent bout of insane antics made us all look rather normal ..... and almost boring in comparison!!
Yes you've gone through a lot recently, and this is a community that supports its own.... BUT it's like having a pain in the **** mate that constantly rattles on about themself... after a short while everyone starts to avoid them/drink in other bars/not answer their calls....
But we didn't have that luxury on Snet

Not a cry for attention or help, just a heartfelt apology to all on SN who have endured my endless ramblings about numerous personal situations which in truth have sod all to do with people on SN, and it was wrong to splatter it all over the forums.. So for this I apologise.
Done some deep thinking over the last few days and realised that its not helping anyone, and tends to bring a good forum down at times.
So, no more personal crap from Snazy from now on in
Sorry to anyone who has been bothered, upset or simply bored senseless with my endless threads about me, me oh and me.
Also worth a quick read is this apology to chopper too.

THank you to everyone for their patience.

Not too sure you have much to apologise for Michael. You have been going through a rough patch in your life, a very rough patch by the sounds of things.
People express themselves in different ways and it would seem that in this case SN was a release and a way of doing so for you.
Better that than getting hammered and turning to drugs or worse.
You will always get different opinions from the SN masses.
Remember there are all sorts on here which is what makes it fun and interesting (sometimes) including some real emotional cripples and losers as well as well balanced and humane people like me
Really mate it is our SN to post on as long as it does not break the rules - People do not have to read what you write and can place you on ignore if you are getting on their nerves.
If someone feels that you are out of order then perhaps they should PM you rather than making a public point
All the best,
Paul

I would prefer you to just keep going as normal Snazy.

Hey fella, not to worry. We all go through tough times and need to offload in our different ways. Glad things are going in the right direction now for you, mentally at least.
All the best to you

Some people post garbage, some post heartfelt personal stuff. The rest here are in the middle - we all take and give something different here. I personally like getting loads of different viewpoints on stuff that is happening to me and chipping in with suggestions when someone else asks similar things. That's what I get here. You were just looking for something else - bit more emotionally based maybe, but no less valid.
Frankly I haven't read a lot of the posts you are saying you will curb - the headline didn't pull me in (it needs to say 'cute dog' for reference ). For someone to then click in on an obvious subject heading and then moan that the content is exactly what it said on the tin is a bit pointless really.
You'll know the balance after all this feedback, but I really wouldn't worry too much about it as you come across as a decent bloke who loves dogs!

Nobody has to read any thread, if its helped you then whats the problem ?
You are a bit of an open book, nothing wrong with that and perhaps at some point you will be able to help someone in a similar situation.
Not sure about the Tats though.....

Snaz.. given the guy you were talking about, ANYONE would need to vent.. the other stuff your having to deal with hasnt/didnt help and that self centred self opinionated div didnt help matters.
leave him to his misery and get on with the things that are important to you.
