At least it sells that way I think generally, on ebay, the cars sell for the realistic market price... It's a big enough market to be effective IMO. Yes, you can list the cars in other places for loads of money ("what it's worth and what I want"), but nobody will buy it (in my experience and in my opinion).

I sold my pug206 and smart car on ebay and actually i prefer it to listing cars on autotrader and then waiting around for ages whilst people might call you etc.

On ebay it's usually bish-bash-bosh and the deal's done, and unless you've got some tosser non-paying buyer (which might happen on autotrader as well - people ringing up to book a test drive and not showing up, people coming for a test drive, saying they'll buy it and then never come back etc etc), you've got your car sold there and then.
