yeah sorry mate i realised what you meant after i'd replied
. the thing is if the 330 is going to be over 30k your upgrade is going to be about 3.5k otherwise everyone would just buy an sti then upgrade, unless they sell the limited number their reportedly doing then make a ppp available

Remember that the 330s has much more than just PPP over a standard uk STi - keyless entry / start, navigation, 18's, leather recaros etc.
3.5k over a standard STi seems a very good deal seeing as my 18" wheels were £1600 alone!

Not bad for my 27k (demo) and another £2k would get me Litchfield's 360bhp package...
still cheaper than the PPP 330... and WAY cheaper than that 380PPP...I'm a very happy chap....

I e-mailed a contact I have at IM Group about PPP for an MY08 STi and got the following response:
"Currently there is not a kit available for 2008 Sti. The engines are modified for the limited editions individually. I can only suggest at this time that you keep an eye on our website Home | Subaru (UK) Ltd Official Website for any updates on this through the accessory link."

I may be disappointed then
Fingers crossed, maybe they'll want to sell some as complete cars before offering add-on PPP's. I guess Subaru UK dictate to Prodrive what they want to offer?? As I said, Prodrive said they would offer add-on kits, but this was maybe 3 months ago when I asked.
Although as pointed out £30K for the premium model including PPP is pretty competitive, the Euro model imports were £27K I think from DH Cars and about to go up when I got my UK model for £25K pre-price rise. So all the premium kit with BBS alloys (I presume) plus PPP kit actually represents excellent value for the UK model, if UK is your preference.

Gutted about the bug eye... that off was an impressive 4 wheel drift up to the point of regaining the grip.....
Obsidian Black..yes that's mine... kinda black with a tinge of blue... wierd colour I must admit... going to see how it polishes up this weekend.

It took a long time but they have got there in the end. The 380s I read about is going to have 19 wheels and larger wheel arches. Let's hope they give it a bigger bonnet scoop too. The type that could swallow flying geese.
So much for subaru going soft.
