Andy, if you were the guy at the Dams along with the girl with the yellow sport then I am sorry but if you felt ignored at this meet you only have yourself to blame. It was your choice not to park with the South and mid Wales lot and and not join in and it was also your choice not to join us when my wife went over and tried to get you both to join in. You need to understand that its a two way thing.
As for my comment "sports we love um" yes we do, quite a few us us started out in sports so trust me we do love um and they are as much a part of the club as any other scoob.
I suggest forgetting all about this and try again, your more than welcome to ANY of our meets but please please go up to someone. anyone and communicate its that simple

Kev when we arrived at the carpark at Elan Valley where you were situated, there was not any room for us so we could safely park on the same side as all the others, so we moved to the next parking bay, when the mid wales lot arrived as you put it, they parked down by us and someone came over and told them to move and park opposite the rest of you, the way we were looked was like something you had trodden in on the carpet and was never invited over. As Regional Officer for SIDC, I think it was down to you to come over and introduce yourself because, i wouldnt of known you from adam, and then we would of felt more comfortable in coming over.

My parents were with us and for a non-scooby owners, they even commented that it seems like a very eliteist group and very clique and for that to be noticed by an outsider then it must of been obvious.

The only reason as to why your wife came over is this Kev is that I work with Simb, if this wasnt the case, you ask yourself this would you have sent her over, I think not.

I can honestly say that that meet will be the first and very last meet i will attend at SWS, I cant comment about Andy and I will also be cancelling my membership with Scoobynet, Im sorry to say that all the backbiting that goes on in this forum, i dont want any part of it, i can enjoy my scoob without SWS and Scoobynet.

Emma, I am not getting into the "he said she said" thing, speak to Simb he will tell you facts of what we are all about.
Your right I did not come over and speak to you the wife did instead, sorry if the RO's wife is not good enough but I was busy setting up the BBQ etc it was my day out as well.

You have obviously made the decision to not get involved I have offered an olive branch which it appears you do not wish to take and that is your choice so I'll just say good luck and enjoy your scooby.

I would appeciate it if you could keep Simb out of this as he is my boss (and friend) plus I do have to work for him.

As for your wife, it was very nice of her to come over and we did thank her but all i am going to say on the matter was the bbq was more important than potential member of the SIDC and SWS?

Not bringing Simb into this just saying speak to him if you want to know more about what we do and who we are, your painting a bleak picture here which is not the case and with all due respect you know nothing about us so dont judge to harshly until you do.

Yes the BBQ was more important at that time we were have technical difficulties lighting it

More importantly I did not organize the event it was a joint thing between mid and south Wales so it was not my job to hold everyone's hand, it was my day off.

I dont recall a problem with anyone else, we did not know quite a few other people from Mid Wales but by the end of the day we day we did its called communication.

I suggest giving CSC a go,clearly we are not what you are looking for , good luck

Yes, Sorry about that wash out folks, from what I gather they had a large gathering in rest bay but decided to come back to Swansea because of the bad weather but on the way , there was a serious incident with one of the boys and a few stayed behind with him so get things sorted out, so I think the meet was called a night when they got to Swansea.

Sorry about all the confusion and waste of your time. Their meets are usually very well organised but everything seems to be against the boys that night.

Any way when the weather is a bit nicer it should be a nice meet.

Also you can see the Teamosaka boys doing there stuff next week in Llandow, don't forget to come and support the welsh team.
