One of my mates has a Beamer 3m, not sure what version though, he always said good things about it, never had a go myself...

I did a bit of mountain boarding in Devon last year, no kite involved, just the board a skid lid a big hill, and a few jumps oh and of coarse, GRAVITY
I did it with the intention of buying a board for kiting, but never got around to it
