Doesn't sound a lot but Motorpoint (I think) are selling pre-reg WRXs for £12,500. Put in context your offers have been fair.

Yeah, but it doesn't help that STI's have been lumped with the biggest tax increase, who want's to pay £450 a year to drive on Britains poorly maintained over congested roads ? I don't it's like paying 2 loads of insurance premiums each year

Out of interest though it i was to put my car up for between 10.5k-11k do you think i'd get get any interest if you were looking to buy ?

To find out what your car is 'really' worth to a dealer, haggle for the best price on the new car without discussing the PX, then once you are satisfied you have got the lowest price you are going to get, chuck the PX into the equation ! At this stage the dealer has given as much margin out of the new car as he is willing to do, the price offered for the PX will make your eyes water but you will then know its real trade value. If you then think you can sell it privately for more than trade price, anything more than the dealer offered is a result.
