the best evaulation your gonna get is from a subaru dealership, all part exchanges have to be under written usally buy a dealer, unless they just go to auction, it costs the dealer to send it to auction. over the past few months cars have dropped alot, its nothing to do with your personal car, its just the way of the world at the moment.

Out of interest though it i was to put my car up for between 10.5k-11k do you think i'd get get any interest if you were looking to buy ?

To find out what your car is 'really' worth to a dealer, haggle for the best price on the new car without discussing the PX, then once you are satisfied you have got the lowest price you are going to get, chuck the PX into the equation ! At this stage the dealer has given as much margin out of the new car as he is willing to do, the price offered for the PX will make your eyes water but you will then know its real trade value. If you then think you can sell it privately for more than trade price, anything more than the dealer offered is a result.
