When I was doing my training in Canada, I had a lovely old pre war Ford saloon, in the old style a bit like the Ford V8 Pilot which you could get over here. It had spent its life in Alberta where they dont use salt on the roads so the chaasis was so perfect that if you rubbed the dust off it you could see a smooth spray finish.
When I got back here I had saved up and I got a 1947 Bristol 400 which was hand built by the aicraft engineers at Bristol Aircraft. Another beautiful car and like always, I wish I still had it.
