Aye but was there even a Titanic in the first place, or were we all just conned?

Each steel section of any White Star ship has a stamp / number on it to identify it, unique to each ship.
The pieces recovered and pieces seen at the bottom of the sea are clearly visible as the Titanic's stamp.
So, either it IS the Titanic down there, or every steel section of Olympic was replaced or re-stamped before she sailed and was sunk, a job that is estimated would have taken months with no-one knowing about.

Au contraire. The Olympic survived the First World War where she severed as a troop ship. She had earned the title "Old Reliable". She ended her days in a breakers yard in 1935.

Fair enough. With regards to the conspiracy theory, the Olympic was in an uninsured accident and the cost of repairing the keel would have been massive. The differences between the Olympic and her sister ship were minimal, but Im sure that Ive seen a picture of the Titanic leaving on her maiden journey where it was claimed that a small detail difference (a window?) was visible. In fairness though, this is from memory too.....

Conspiracy theories are usually de-bunked. You cant keep anything quiet.

Still: no one seems to be able to tell me who was driving the white FIAT?

The Oceanic was the Titanic's sister ship - sank in 1914 off Shetland after hitting rocks (maybe navigation wasn't the White Star Line's strength..)

The "Oceanic" was not a sister ship to Titanic. It was a different design. There were only three "Olympic" class ships. "Olympic", "Titanic" and "Britanic".

It was the Britanic that sank in WW1 by a german mine. The Olympic was scraped in South Shields in 1936, alot of its intrnal decoration resides in the Swan hotel in Alnwick in Northumberland.

This Titanic bollocks about it never sinking and saying it was the Olympic was is utter bollocks and has been proven to be so. The Olympic was not identical to the Titanic. On the Titanic the promanade deck was enclosed up to around 200 ft, the Olympics was completely open. If you look at the bow section of the wreck you'll see that its enclosed. The Titanics serial number is stamped on each propeller. As two of the three propellers are now visable these have been read and they do indeed come from the Titanic.

Hats of the the guy who originally wrote about it, I bet he has made a sh*t load of cash from it.

The main reason for the conspiracy theory is because of photo's and film footage.
There were no archive pictures, or film footage of the Titanic. So, the newspapers and newsreels of the time used pictures of the very similar (but not totally identical, hence the conspiracy theory) sister ship the Olympic. Most were actually taken after the sinking of the Titanic. So its easy to see why conspiracy theorists see the Olympic in the pictures, and assume that was the ship that sank.

The Olympic, unlike its sister ships the Titanic and the Britannic had a long and illustrious career and became known as affectionately as "Old reliable"
The Olympic was also responsible for the sinking of U-103, and was the only known sinking of a warship by a merchant vessel in WW1.

The Britannic was originally going to be named "Gigantic" and was the largest of the three Olympic class ships. It was requisitioned as a hospital ship, and sank at 37°42′05″N, 24°17′02″E after hitting a mine.

Dude, do you have access to the internet? If you ever get the chance to get on it have a look see re the two subjects to which I elude to You will discover so many things that will open your eyes and transform you from a media trusting zombie into an open minded "both sides of the arguement" type gentleman

Once you have accepted that the American government may not be the honour of virtue types, you will be a better person. A person your family and friends will be proud of. A person who will smile more and feel more whole. A person who might even want to stand for a place on the parish council, to change things for the better...

The closest our own government has come to this brainwashing is Climate Change nee Global Warming. Thankfully Westminster hasnt lied about walking on one of earths two moons, nor has it blown up buildings at the expense of may lives.

Yes I do, and perhaps you should have a look at Clavius Moon Base - debunking the moon hoax which pretty much destroys all the stuff about the moon. Most of it is common sense, but it's worth a read.

As for the third tower, you can cherry pick your sources as well as I can, but nothing I have read would lead me to believe it was anything other than what the official account said.

I bet you've been waiting for the new X-Files movies haven't you?
