Or - and this is way out from left-field for some people - just move with the times.

Next thing people will be trying to fit carbs to a Subaru engine. Or drive around without seatbelts? Or go back to using four-star in a quest for power. I can't believe you can still even find bent MOT stations around, especially since the computerised testing and reporting regime. Gone are the days when a friend of a friend could get you a new ticket for £30 in the pub. In fact that was a long time ago that MOTs were even that cheap LOL.

Is the Ninja downpipe from scoobyworld not about £300 and will pass MOT whilst giving you non-cat performance
Most private owned Garage's will sort an MOT without cat in my experience, its only the dealers that shy away from that idea. Normally they roll in an old fiesta for emissions test

APi cannot get a car through an MOT without a cat on it - that would be illegal. Much the same as trying to get an MOT with dodgy brakes or steering etc., etc.

We offer an MOT service that takes care of the emissions problem. We get a trade rate from our MOT station for putting so many through per month Our charge is now £90.00. which includes VAT on the service part of the MOT - IE our work. Mot's do not have any VAT in the price.

But considering that we take the car 6 miles away and spend an hour there whilst waiting for the MOT, our MOT charge is not outrageous.
