I can't download films, not that I would of course, because my internet is so god damn slow, and I have no idea what I'm doing.

I just have to wait for stuff to come out on DVD, or get someone to get films for me. I need more friends, to get more films.

I just want some new stuff to watch, albeit, not sure what, I always forget somehow.

SW, it would cost that much to go down to Notts, I might as well upgrade my t'internet and learn how to download til my hearts content.

I'm not fussy about quality, so long as it's almost watchable.

and FWIW i downloaded a film yesterday, "Cloverfield", from xbox live, legally, and i paid 540ms points for it,

i prefer to wait until its available on DVD, pay for it, take it home and watch it on a nice big screen, on a nice leather couch, with the surround sound on, and our lass gobbling me off.

downloading films illegally = you never get the surround sound or all the extras = what is the point?

However, I am going to watch Batman at the IMAX on friday. always feels like a proper occasion as the screen is so fvcking huge and the sound is actually really good!

Yeah going to the Cinema now is a joke. Took the Girlfriend to watch Hancock (sh*te film) and after paying for the tickets, drinks & sweets, it came £20.

Rent the same film at Blockbusters £4, and burn it (50p). That's what I prefer to do.

She wants to see the new James Bond film & Mummy film at the Cinema too. That'll be £40 then

I'd pay to watch James Bond at the cinema and if I enjoy it, I'll buy it when it's released on DVD but I can't think of any other films that I'd want to pay for twice.

My rules for cinema viewing are...

Wednesdays only, BOGOF with Orange.
Always a showing before 3pm to avoid kids, and NEVER during school hols.
Arrive 10 minutes late to miss ads but hopefully catch trailers.
Missuse takes large handbag to conceal 90p Butterkist.

We did pay £8 each to see Batman at the IMAX, and it was 100% worth it for the sound system alone. The film was excellent too.
