Chris has to take full credit for this. He saw the need and went for it - all his idea AFIK....

IMHO it is really too close to call. It depends on the quality of preparation / driver skill on the day. Launching 500bhp though a 1275kg car puts HUGE stresses on everything, so **** knows how the Skylarks are going to survive some full bore launches with nearly half a ton extra weight and 200bhp more!...
Is that 400bhp with an exhaust, filter and PPP?
How many Scoobies run a genuine dyno proven 400bhp? Shame Pat couldn't get his 500 engine to last a bit longer, but then again what transmission could have coped?
