ive NEVER had brake fade on my set up,,, they aint the best ill admit compared to others ive tried but i aint felt any better on a scoobie,,,, and that i WAS suprised with

how was the 305's better out of interest, the pedal feel, the pedal travel, less fade or just confidence ?

ive had a few brake kits on cars before from 330mm brembos on a cabrio that WAS the nuts,,, but used to judder when warm for some reason

interested to hear what your comparing it against
AP discs and mintex 1144 pads, it was a floating setup also
The kit itself was a bit of a bodge, the brembo calipers were off a fiat coupe turbo afaik, had considerably better feel and stopping power over the standard setup (and i mean considerably better stopping power )
Also had the braided hoses which helped, though could have still improved them a little, but it was a good setup under the 17's i had on

Tony
see i found the 1144's on the 4 pots where less than average, i never even realised they was 1144's till i changed em to the 1155's,,, i ordered 1155's cause i heard i was gonna go to the ring and i HATE brake fade !!, simple things such as pads and tyres make a HUGE difference,,,, ALSO better calipers do but the clamping force of the 4 pots seem ok in theory as they got 2 different size pistons on each side to vary the force ( rather than both the same size)

as said you seem happy, change the pads to 1155's THEN tell me what you notice as its a BIG difference to me anyway
