This is going to sound heartless but...
Tough ******* to the so called "victims". Steal and car and drive like a t*at, don't expect any sympathy when you come a cropper!
Consider it a small dose of Chlorine to the gene pool!
The real victims here are the poor b*stard who's property was damaged by these prat's actions and who had to witness the aftermath, the owner of the stolen car and the families the ******* leave behind, who are properly wondering where the f*ck they went wrong!
Maybe if we all opened our eyes, stop with the beeding heart crap, cease pretending criminal actions are instrumental in maturation in young men and start implementing some proper punishment for bad behaviour, things would never escalate to this kind of incident!

What I don't understand is...
His Uncle aged 22 and the one lad,his Nephew was 20
So the 20 year old is the son of his sister or his brothers wife who must be aged what?
Does my head in things like that
Sorry for the OT.And yes,I do abhor all forms of theft

I have a far better idea (well okay, someone mentioned it to me). For these kind of crimes, the criminals should not be sentenced to a period in detention.
They should be charged in Kilowatt hours.
Sit the buggers on an exercise bike wired up to a generator and make the little ******* sweat for their sentence.
this way they give back to society, learn some discipline and "help reduce their carbon footprint"

That's why the UK is fcucked. In the eyes of a parent, a child that steals a car is a "good lad". Well unless all these parents start taking some responsibility for their children, the country will continue its downward spiral.

I don't think death from just stealing a car is a punishable by death as such. But the way they were driving also possibly could be seen that way.
You wouldn't shoot a man for illegally owning a gun, but if he started waving it loaded in a crowd of people you would happily take that sucker down.
The astra was the gun, the idiots were the bullets, our country is the crowd.
Luckily the caravan stepped in.

two dead car theives one dead caravan. Sounds like a prefect end to a horrible day. I wonder if their deaths make more or less paperwork for the police compared to pulling them out alive.

Mmmm don't really know about this...
Did they deserve to die for stealing a car?
Of course it's wrong and everyone has their own opinions,I'd want justice on anyone who stole my car but not death, after the inital annoyance I'd hope that no one innocent got hurt...
As a father of grown up kids it always amazed me that parents believe their kids are angels,I always gave my kids the benefit of the doubt until proven otherwise, trouble is boys(well my son) used to tell me what he'd been upto(no theft, burglary or anything like that)...sorry to waffle but my point is that the relative said "They were both caring lads, both top lads who look after their mates. Just good lads and it's a terrible shame what's happened and the way they've gone.
"It's got right through to everyone. . They say they won't be speeding any more. It was just a crazy moment. I was with him a few minutes before and he nipped out with one of his mates."
Well they didn't care that they nicked someones car and with reference to the quote do they accept car theft as a hobby, sport or what.
I can't agree that the ultimate price is paid but sentences should be a lot tougher.

BUT, and this is the critical thing.
If some **** nicks a car and ends up killing themselves in it, tough *******; they certainly aren't getting any sympathy! If they'd not been stealing cars and driving like a **** they would still be alive!
The point everyone is making is who willing some people are to dismiss/denegrate the seriousness of such offences in their overall regard of someone. If people opened their eyes, called a scally a scally and clamped down on deviant behaviour before it escalates to this extent then these types of incidents would decline!
Effective deterrents might be a good start!

At the end of the day 2 car thieves died, not the end of the world is it.

"There's a passage I got memorized.Ezekiel 25:17. "The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men.Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherdsthe weak through the valley of the
darkness. For he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children.
And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious
anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you
will know I am the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you."
I been sayin' that **** for years. And if you ever heard it, it meant your
***. I never really questioned what it meant. I thought it was
just a cold-blooded thing to say to a motherf9cker 'fore you popped a
cap in his ***. But I saw some $hit this mornin' made me think
twice. Now I'm thinkin', it could mean you're the evil man. And I'm
the righteous man. And Mr. .45 here, he's the shepherd protecting
my righteous *** in the valley of darkness. Or is could by you're
the righteous man and I'm the shepherd and it's the world that's
evil and selfish. I'd like that. But that $hit ain't the truth. The
truth is you're the weak. And I'm the tyranny of evil men.
But I'm
tryin'. I'm tryin' real hard to be a shepherd."
Maybe the caravan is the righteous man?

I suppose dead they arent doing any more crime or hurt anyone through their stupidity, they wont cost in care to get them onto incapacity benefit and I do have limited sympathy, very little.
I suppose its their families I feel sorry for, the grief of losing a child, brother, grandson etc is tough and they brought this on their families through their own actions, they didn't deserve to die as I think life is bigger than one stupid action and they may have grown to be productive, decent members of society who regretted what they did, but better this than them hurting some other poor sod minding their own business and then scuttling off into the night. the families may be decent upstanding people, but I doubt it, the kids of decent parents, thought its not a rule don't nick cars, so perhaps to a certain extent their parenting has failed, probably because they are little older than the kids.
So, in summary, f*ck em, hopefully it might make some other little sh1tbags thing about what they are doing, but I doubt it, its all good fun until your brains are gracing the front of a Caravan.

I repeat my view that I think it is reprehensible that people should be pleased that two youngsters died.
