I repeat my view that I think it is reprehensible that people should be pleased that two youngsters died.

Not pleased, David. It's sad that it got to the stage where they thought it was ok to nick someones car and drive like a prat.

The outcome (punishment) may not have fit the crime BUT they chose to do it. They brought it on themeselves. Thank god they didn't take anyone innocent with them.

End of.

I'd say it's reprehensible to steal a car then causing extensive damage and loss of life.

now what message does this send out to the child if your parent will stand by you like that even though everyone knows what you did. there is loyalilty and there is stupidity.

There's plenty of other "good lads" left out there.

Lets hope more of them get killed soon.

These are the same morons that drive round out streets mowing down innocent by standers.

Hope they suffered before they died - ***** !

They would have needed to steal the keys to get the car which means probably breaking into someones house etc. Just wish it happend to the scum that smashed through my front door when my wife and 5 year old son were in bed.

Exactly let's keep this in perspective nobody deserve's to die for nicking a car !!

A good hiding dished out somewhere down the line may have prevented it though.

Bit late for that now.

Group buy on T-Cut?

I don't like Astra's, but why couldn't it have been something worthwhile wrecked such as a Vectra?

i'll remember these comments when am trying to save the life of her son and the mother of the young lad standing next to me screaming her head off asking me to do something to save her poor boy who is dead after just stealing a car! if he killed injured a poor innocent by-standard which you don't have to steal a car to do.
Was at one accident when some up right respectible member of socity was on her phone while driving and ploughed into a bus stop and killed two children. Does she deserve to die also?????

You kill through your own stupid actions then you deserve to die instead of the people you killed. If this pillock, upstanding member of the community or not, did such a deed to my kids then I'd quite happily administer my own justice. Guilty of driving whilst on the phone, and guilty of leaving the road and killing pedestrians, assuming there are no other factors.

No one is denying that of course. But David Lock is right.

If you were the judge, would you sentence them to death for being part of a car theft?

No, but if a precentage of accidents happen on the road and you believe in probability (I'm open) then I am happier that an accident happened to someone who stole a car than anyone else.

2 criminals died, not two youngsters, they were old enough to know right from wrong.

Used to live in Cheadle Hulme - Actually have family living on Ladybridge Road.

Got not one Iota of sympathy for the robbing gits.

Less "robbing git" genes in the pool - which isn't a bad thing in my opinion.

Sorry if that sounds harsh but that's how I see it.

I think you will find people who have been victims or in contact or live near the sort of 'good lads' who do this sort of thing are a lot less sympathetic and with good reason.

People get sick of watching the breed of scumbag who is virtually imune to procecution it punishment even if the police pick them up

The sad thing is really with decent parenting and some responsibility taken and a court system that punishes and set boundaries this may well have been prevented.

Even worse it that the parents of the 'good lads' are unlikely to see this as anything to do with them or how they brought up their good lads and it will not be seen as a lesson to others.

Now some might say that i do not know the parents circumstances, true. However, this could apply to any number of 'good lads' or 'lasses' and thier parents really.

Glad it turned out like it did.

It could easily have been like this: Hit and run driver leaves young mum dying on Mother's Day - Birmingham Mail

Which happened not too far from where I work (although thanks to the crash, the Pork Chopper flying over the scene caught some more scum nicking lead off the church roof ).

Yeap - The Kenny, Hesketh and used to venture down to Hazel Grove every now and again as you do!

Occasionally hit some of the pubs in Stockport - Can't remember the name of the pub opposite the college / town hall but would go in there for a game of pool before heading off to Legends / Hacienda - Happy Days!!! (RIP Tony Wilson)

To the **** sucking to$$er that infracted me - **** you you scumbag supporting **** - Hope one of your family get mown down by a $hithead who's just stolen a car !

Well done - This one was at least offensive .

Hope you can now tell the difference between being offensive and being angry that there is any support for scum that put ordinary folks lives at danger through their thoughtless actions.

As FM says Play with fire you're gonna get burnt - HOPEFULLY BADLY BURNT as was the case with these two ***** !
