no one deserves to die !!! but if it happens as a consiquence of there actions no one can take the blame apart from them selfs!!!. call them what you want if anything ever happend to my son (god forbid) and i heard some one say its good that it happened to put it lightley i would most probabley kill them. an opinion is that just an opinion imagine if it was your brother sister etc etc and yes i do know what its like to have ome one run over by these people !

Similar happened round our way, two lads stole an MX5, used it ram raid the local bp, taking two bollards out whilst trying to get through the doors, which they finally managed, they managed to slip the cops but killed themselves five minutes later on an empty dual carriageway.
Live by the sword die by the sword, no sympathy whatsoever, only for those left to pick up the pieces.

Well done - This one was at least offensive .

Hope you can now tell the difference between being offensive and being angry that there is any support for scum that put ordinary folks lives at danger through their thoughtless actions.

As FM says Play with fire you're gonna get burnt - HOPEFULLY BADLY BURNT as was the case with these two ***** ![/quote

If its of any consolation i infracted you for this post (was not me who infracted on your other post) purely on the basis of "i hope one of your family gets mown down"
why would you hope for that ,not a very nice statement to make when you think about it .

I was being offensive - unlike my first post where I was simply stating my opinion that I couldn't give a flucking **** about dead car thieving scumbags or their grieving families

Yes thats fair enough although a bit hard on the owner of the car concerned and also on any innocent bystander who gets injured of course.

Why? As he mentioned it's more of an illness. Thieving property and joyriding in a reckless manner is no illness.

Really, more of an illness. |Well if so then surely th punishment would not be prison and would be mental hospitals. in a lot of cases child molesters are released back into society having served a prison sentence, nothing to do with treatment or a cure.

If it is a disease then the best approach would be to lock up those who suffer indefinitely or until cured or no longer a threat to children.

As you cannot guarantee that it will be cured then indefinitely would do just fine.

I find it odd to the point of lunacy that this crime and the consequences of it and re offending are treated a lot like a shop lifter.

Knicking a jumper from Woolies is not the same as ruining a child's life, damaging them physically/internally and mentally and should be treated as such!

Too bloody right. Well said.

Illness my ****. They should be shot, hung, drawn, lynched and every other adjective I can find to throw (verbally) at them. It's a choice - and one that will hopefully have grave repercussions for every one of them

Why are the families Scumbags. A number of decent families have bad apple children but that does not make them scumbags ????

Yes, agreed, some intense short term pain and humiliation, long and painful recovery would do, with no lasting, Benefit worthy injuries either.

No need for your 'Sun' rant. Unless you can tell me joyriding is generally thought of as being caused by a form of mental illness my point stands. Feeling sorrow for someones actions through mental illness is not the same as condoning their actions and being lenient with them

agree. But stealing a motor and driving the car like a **** and getting yourself killed - Then you deserve to die !

Agree on the point about the family not neccessarily being scumbags - but it was the uncle that called them "good lads" - The family obviously has different standards to mine.

Anyway - time to move on ...

Given your very bad spelling I take it you're no expert in this area thereby making your hypothesis somewhat lacking.

Sun rant - oh get you!

I replied to someone who claims child molesting is a mental illness.
Perhaps you should read my other replies to this thread re the 'odd lads' and their families

Cool - if it is an illness then if they cannot be cured or may relapse then lock them away for good - who in their right mind would want child molesters walking the streets - except other child molesters of course - great if an illness problem solved.
That is not The Sun talking - common sense from a parent!

I know something of mental illness - my mother is Bi-polar and on costant regiem of medication. I had her sectioned when she became a danger (tried to comit suicide) to herself. She was diagnosed, treated and released under regular supervision. In her case she is only likely to self harm which is bad enough.

TBH is she was a threat to others she and i would want her placed in a safe secure place where she could not harm others.

I do not think she could or would live with it if she did.

Please lock the thread

So to surmise, joyriding offenders are not thought of as being mentally ill and in general responsible for their own actions.Thankyou.

They know perfectly well that they are in the wrong and should be heavily punished for their actions. I do think however that the death penalty is somewhat over the top, but if they kill or injure someone by their actions they should get the top penalty available in the law.

The same should apply to paedophiles who are not prepared to apply self control to their disgusting lust for young children.

If they hadn't of stolen the car they would still be alive. Thank god they didn't harm anyone else. Yeah its sad but it was their own fault for being so stupid! I'm 21 and I have never thought of stealing a car if i did and i did exactly what they did would I still be a "TOP LASS" or a "HERO" no I doubt it I'd be called bloody stupid and rightly so!

Yeah I feel sorry for their family that they didn't teach them not to steal other peoples property. Look at it this way all/most of you have nice cars sat at home how would you feel if it was your car they stole and then totalled and died in you'd feel pretty **** and think thats great I'm without my car now because some chav wanted to show off to his mates.

No they didn't deserve to die but the people who's car and house it was didn't deserve to have their property destroyed.
