She HAS talent - of that there is no doubt, but she lives at the ragged edge and this is not uncommon with people with her lifestyle.

Ultimately, it's her choice and if she chooses to waste what she has, then pity her and learn from her mistakes.

She's not the first to burn out and waste a life and (unfortunately) she won't be the last.

I'm lucky in that I have a brother who went to the edge but stepped back and became a truly decent person. He made a wrong choice when young, and now suffers for it, but I wouldn't change who he is now for the world.

Back to the original point - where she fails is that she (apparently) has no friends willing to tell her the truth (friends tell you what you need to know, not what you want to hear)

Yeah that's a fair point but the grammy's have recently been the stomping ground of American Hip Hop artist's. It had to be a fantastic Album for a young Jewish girl from North London heavily influenced by some of the great female Jazz greats to "go against the grain" and change that.

She needs a friend like me ....... I am the first person to tell my mates they are being complete t1ts when they act like it.

Issue is that she likes doing drugs and getting lashed and hangs about with the same type of people..... she does not put herself in the correct surroundings that are condusive to becoming clean

It is a great shame that she has ruined her life and almost certainly done permanent damage to herself. As was said above, it is an excellent display of the mess that narcotics make when you get hooked.

The authorities are not helping her by taking a soft approach to the offences she has been seen getting into.

It is time that there was a real effort made to educate young children about the trouble you will build for yourself by getting into narcotics. When you look at it, is it really worth it in later life? Just sitting back and letting it all go on is a gross dereliction of responsibilty by the authorities.

No, but if you go round insulting people, smacking people, trashing hotel rooms, spitting at people etc..... then you should be charged for 'assault whilst off your ****' or something and that carries a heavier penalty.... such as arm amputation

true the Grammys do seem to have a 'flavour of the year' style to them just like most major award ceremonies.

Lol wot?!

The woman is a hardcore drug addict, what kind of picture are we painting for the younger generation if someone of this status is being treated with kid gloves instead of doing the right thing and labelling her a crackhead and then doing something about this?

But she personifies the life of excess, young and successful with money so ends up partying a bit too had on crack/heroine/cocaine/etc etc.

Er, no! All been said before, she gets enough attention already and frankly, it's a waste of energy!

Exactly! Let people have the freedom to do what they want to themselves, it's not hurting anyone else.

By all means, when they attack other people and property, take it to court, but just because someone takes drugs they shouldn't automatically be locked up. What's the difference to drinking 5-6 pints on a friday / saturday evening, really?

Yes I agree with you there, and I do feel sorry for her getting into such a state.

But she seems to get away with offences that she should be punished for appropriately. If she always gets off lightly it will mean nothing to her.

Fame who would really want it...
She can hold a tune but so can plenty of people. I woudn't say she is really talented, there have been far better singers that have come and gone over the last decade. I suppose its her love of the old okey cokey that makes her a dream for the press and the sad celeb hungry saddos in the UK.

Everytime I hear Rehab I roll about on the floor laughing, the first time I heard it I though it was Vic Reeves doing one of his Shooting Stars pub songs.

Where? Columbia? It only hit britain in the 80's, 20 odd years ago when £200 was the average wage. . . .

It was still being used as an anaesthetic 30+ years ago!
