ECU REMAP??? o5 STi
#31
Bob Rawle did my '05 STI PPP the only 'mod' was an STI panel filter and i ended up with 336/340 you may get a little more with your set set up
Haven't had any experience of any other Scooby mappers but i have had other makes mapped and would say Bob is very thorough and was more than happy to field my moronic questions for weeks after

If the cost is not a real issue, then go for it, but be aware - this could be the start of that slippery slope of spending wads of cash, chasing horse power

one thing is my fuel economy has improved too, its more responsive and pulls better and smoother. jgm will come to you and is very talkative through out explaining everything he's doing and is also willing to answer any questions no matter how daft they are

Steve Simpson is a man you might like to think about with regards to a reflash or map of your current ECU, He works out of TEG sport, Warton near lancaster and is about 60 miles from Darlington. A nice drive! . This is one of the guys behind Simtek. so he knows what he is doing and is a nice guy to go with it. I will be visiting him soon.
Also you could get in comms with Harvey, who for me has always given good, sound no nonsence advice on parts to buy and has good facilities to fit which does not cost the earth to use via Darren. Cant remember the name of his garage. But it is in Darlington also. And on top of that Harvey organises Bob Rawle to come up and map a certain amount of cars over weekends every few months. Although not sure wether the PPP ECU is Ecutek compatible?. But it should be able to reprogrammed via opensource software that Steve Simpson uses.
Keep the car Wayne and get it running like it always should have since leaving the factory. Believe me you wont regret it.
