Debaging the grill was the plan 4 months ago but just didnt have the time....so thought why not bling up the stars instead

i used to do it when i was into fords.. but i put stickers on the inside, had a ganja leaf on mine haha

darms, you are getting as bad that Elmer bloke with his sparkly glittery gril badges

That look pretty hot if I say so myself. Would it of looked 100x better if you removed the silver stars and painted the rest white/black and had the LED shine through just the stars, so they illuminate only...if you see what I mean.

hey mate, tell me about it...... :lol1

As for your idea, it was my initial plan to have several leds on a board exactly behind the stars and have then shine through. But work took priority......Happy the way it turned out anway

blast from the past....(well 3yrs anyway )

Update - the led bank went faulty a few months ago ;( so rather than replacing it with one Led strip I installed two....... a lot brighter

any chance yiou can do a couple more pics please close ups and from behind the badge so i can see how its all connected up ? isit swired to the sidelights ?

Will try and take a few pics over the weekend mate. As for wiring it up, I linked it to my CCFL's which were connected to a independent switch
