From the very rough look at the pictures, it will need, Bumper, wings, Lights, front slam panel, labour & paint, + any other damage that may have been caused that can not been seen from the photos. Put an advert in Autotrader/pistonheads as damaged and at £6.5k ono and see what happens I would be sure it would go, make sure you have the V5 and any relevant paperwork to hand before the sale.
Just have to wait and see...

In the 1990's I bought a fair bit of salvage and repaired it. There was a decent margin to be made. Nowadays, with new cars being cheaper relative to wages, a surplus of secondhand cars, and the general public much more wary of repaired cars, the whole 'damaged repairable' thing is not worth the bother. Repair costs have also risen (higher labour rates and environmental legislation affecting sprayshops). Anything more than minor damage is often not worth the bother on a commercial basis, if you are a good DIY'er or a 'pro' who can do the repair as a 'lunchtime job' then it may be worth it. Don't bother with anything that's recorded though, most punters will run a mile and you'll never sell it.

im no expert but id be really suprised if someone gave you more than 4k in the current market which is about 1k less than the total of the parts that are on it. factor in the time and the know how to strip it advertise all the various parts package and post them and to be quite honest if youve already got a job kids ect its alot of hassell to go through. if you want rid advertise it for 4.5k and it will go. like you said life is a lesson and we all learn from our mistakes..

Thanks guys, I know the current market is down, but what can I do...Just got to make the best of the situation that I'm in.
If it goes as is I'm happy, If not I'll have to strip it.

The only thing wrong with that idea, is once you've sold all the best bits, you may well be stuck with a stripped out car on your driveway with bits you may struggle to sell. If the sold bits haven't made more than what it would have to sell it as is at a knock down price, you'll be out of pocket again.
As mentioned before. Price it at £4-5k and get rid.
Expensive lesson learnt.

I'd sell it to scoobybits if they make a decent offer
I had a mate who tried to break a bugeye UK300 and I think he had bits of car in the hallway, garage, downstairs loo and at his mums house for quite a while.

This guy could help you on your way. Front end parts for sale in the forums https://www.scoobynet.com/private-sa...wage-bits.html already in WRC blue. You just need a bumper then (and a bonnet if you dont want the carbon one).
Find someone to fit for you and you could be fixed for well under a £1000

T best advice to you would be to Strip it for parts as im not sure you would get more for it if you sold it in the condition it is , even if you were to repair all that damage your looking at recuperating 7-8k at the most .

Because cost of fuel and an MPG of 25 also road tax being £400 per year. Needless to say i won't be voting for labour next year. thank god i got rid of my sti PPP yesterday. I'll wait till next year and buy another as prices will be silly once the tax comes in.

"This is quite an urgent issue - emissions from cars are increasing, people are buying cars all the time," Mr Yeo told BBC One's Breakfast.
"We don't want them to stop driving, but we want them to choose the greenest car.
"They need the biggest possible incentive, that's why the government should be even bolder - really penal rates for high-emission cars and really attractive 'carrots' so that tax is almost nothing on the greenest models."
However, he said that because three out of every four cars bought were second-hand, the tax should apply to old as well as new cars.
If the Tories get in they will finish off the market for performance cars for ordinary people. Only the very rich will be able to afford them. The roads will be a lot quieter, which is what they want. Back to the 1920 and 1930's, the rich will be able to swan around in nice cars and the 'masses' will have to used public transport or pootle about in a Fiat Panda.
