Well, it's all about competition. The bloke still made a good few quid as I bought all the materials, so know what he made.
If the local boys had been competative and actually turned up on time to give the quote then they'd have got the job over the Polish chap. He might have been Bulgarian actually as he was recommended by a Bulgarian I used to fit my new doors.........
