A great night again
Did anyone get a rough count of numbers that turned up? Shame the interceptors couldn't make an attendance.
Also, thanks to the couple from Birmingham who's daughter (Chloe I think) kept Charlotte entertained till we left. She keeps telling her mum she has a new friend who she can meet at the next scooby run which is this Saturday by the way! Don't have the heart to tell her you live too far away.

Another great success, well done to Milamber for virtually all of the organisation and to Wozzaa for all your hard work stickering etc. and Bibo for the DVD
Sorry we got moved out of Costco's a bit early (My idea to meet there) maybe we should have asked permission but didn't want to be told "No!"
Really LMAO when we were leaving Maccy D's to see the copper arrive in the Land Rover, the look on his face, when he saw the treble parking around the roundabout, was "How the hell do I sort this lot out?"
Can't wait for TR VI

Maybe you could organise an event with half as many cars to show us how it's done.
I lost count of the number of times that the maps and route were posted, along with the instruction to "PRINT THEM OUT"

I'm away at the moment with sporadic internet access.
I'm really pleased it went well. From the feedback I've had I think the TomTom files worked well for people - phew
I'd really like to thank the fellow committee members - Bri4n, Wozzaa, Scoobymaz and even Spally
Also honourable mentions go to B3n and Wongy and 97Catalunya, the collection would have been much less if it wasn't for them
Wozzaa was kept busy throughout the night and did a brilliant job with designing the stickers and pursuading his form to donate them - you star
Bibo had the thankless task of doing the DVD, a worthy successor to the previous DVD god Vtechtoturbo.
Thanks to all the regional organisers for helping to drum up support
Budgie for keeping me sane at McDonalds...
And a genuine awestruck thanks for people who travelled miles and miles to come along - the Wales and Dorset crew spring to mind but others came from as far away too
Thanks to everyone for behaving yourselves and giving so generously

Once at Macdonalds, there is a choice. If you have travelled miles to get there and want to take in the sites of London then that can be arranged, there are always people that want to take that route. We have tried it a couple of times (Tunnel Run 3 was the last), but getting 200 cars through central London and at least 30 sets of lights is a nightmare. Those of us that live/work in London prefer to go back through the tunnels once more.
We will take your point that this isn't advertised, and will address this next time and make sure that we organise this side of things differently.
Massive thanks to Milamber for doing the majority of the work , I only have minor role to play, but will try and help out more next year

Have to say a Huge Thank you to all the guys that organized this, again i thoroughly enjoyed this year but I have to apologize for my lack of coverage this year though got kind of busy around McDonalds with that road being blocked off and my head wasn't in it but there is still a few pics to follow
I have alot more video footage this time so when i get chance i will put some up.
This one is for Milamber, D40x + Tripod + Dodging the traffic and i managed to get this a little better than last year with my compact
Will post some other pics later.
Once again a Big Thank You to the Essex Scooby Crew.
Ryan.

No excuses for getting lost! There are maps, Tomtom uplaods and plenty of other people to follow. Once I was on the bridge/A2 several cars flew past me, I radioed (sp?) through to tell people to cruise not race, then kept getting requests as to where to go from cars that had overtaken me.
I think that caused most of the problems to be honest, when I got back to the Dartford tunnel I was in a line of 8 cars but as soon as they got through the tolls they all floored it and got seperated
It was well organised though thanks to all who worked on the event
