I have a blue Subaru WRC t-shirt and wear that frequently, in fairness its not covered with loads of big logos but it does have a few small ones.

Anger
i wear my subaru jacket at meets all the time and couldnt give a toss what other people think lol

I can make my mind up for myself thanks
Totally agree with the statement above, I dont worry about what people think, the t-shirt I own is very good quality and I like it so thats all the matters to me.

I have a team t-shirt that I wear when I want, also have a Mcrae gathering polo that will also get worn when ever I want to, I agree with previous post about wearing football shirts that at least I wont be looking for someone wearing an Evo shirt or a Honda shirt to start a fight with, might have a chat about the car they drive though, also have a winter hat that I wear when its cold, so if that makes me a nerd/saddo then so what, I dont give a f**k

Well im proud to say I wear my subaru gear when out shopping an even walks and the long suffering Mrs H has to as well

along with my Subaru flag on the flag pole at my house too !!

Next year for the annual scarecrow display for Charity there will a full suaru scarecrow on the side of my house

At CS all members automaticallly wear the subaru branded gear for meetings and when ever I see some one elso wearing the same conversations start up

I dont think it is sad ' naff at all and am proud of the subaru branded image i present to the public ,even getting a RBS subaru photo on my credit card !!

I think the naff comments are for non believers ,non purists and non Subari club members

Do you think Umbro ,londsdale 'Addias and all the other tat you see on baseball wearing ,tracksuit bottoms tucked into white socks and stupid oversized trainers Chavs that fequent the streets today is any better ?

Subaru clothing at a rally is ok I suppose as you are supporting the rally team. The football comparison works in this respect.

Wearing Subaru clothing to meet other Subaru owners in a car park is not for me I have to say. No problem with owners clubs etc but dressing up in uniform is a bit sad to me.

Scooby Doos on parcel shelves again is most definitely not for me

Woolly hat and that's it. I wear hats in winter anyway so I don't mind a SUbaru one, even though I don't have a Subaru now

As for labels, not my scene. I'd rather wear £16 jeans and £6 t-shirts and pay my mortgage off quicker along with some extra in my kids trust. Spare cash goes on providing us with a nice home, reasonable holidays and things which WE see the benefit of, not others.

Pretty much everyone at the Mcrae gathering had Subaru clothing and a lot even had Subaru umbrellas. It was a sea of blue. Obviously many Subaru owners like to wear Subaru branded clothes.

An example:

Each to their own. I wouldn't wear a fleece or that type of thing howevere I do own some Subaru cuff links and have used them - very discreet

I think if you're off to a Subaru-only meet, yet still feel the need to be blue as a smurf, yep, obsessive...

Though following rallies and supporting the team... You're just wearing your side's colours.

Similarly, someone wore a SWRT overcoat out on Saturday in the middle of Brussels @ a beer festival. I noticed it but didn't think it was **** or obsessive.

I have a lightweight SWRT jacket, several baseball SWRT hats, fleece/rugby shirt thing and team shirt and I will wear them when I want and not worry about what others think.

Its not what you wear, its the person thats wearing them thats important (or someting like that)

My sons got a snap-on Subaru toolbox plastered with the SWT logo and pictures of the hawkeye WRC, i think it cost him nearly 2 grand. At the rate my impreza's depretiating his toolbox will be worth more than my Impreza!
I'm getting the wife the Subaru SWT rampant rabbit in blue that plugs into the cig lighter socket. She says it better be the turbo version not the sport, i've told her i'll get PPP fitted to improve performance and maintain the warranty. And she say's Gordon will probably nail it with one of his environment taxes.
I've told her that she must not use it in my Impreza because it will effect fuel economy.

ps. had great fun at the mcrae thing playing "spot the snide" as quite a few of the jackets looked pretty "suspect"

the only thing worse then wearing fake goodies, is wearing fake goodies that look so naff everybody can tell they are fake

mother has just came back from turkey and took great delight in giving me 3 t shirts

2 x ted baker and 1 x bench

surprise, suprise they all came in the same plastic wrap, dodgy as hell, will make decent polishing cloths no doubt

What does this thread make of me ?

I've got a Coventry shirt.... my sister's idea of a joke !

My own take is that the "gear" is good quality, I have a "heavy" coat for the annual "forest rain water challenge".... as I'm into the cars via the rallying.

Don't feel sad to wear mine, but cuff-links, you are joking right ?

LOL

This went out with Dunlop branded rally jackets in the 1960's!

The only folk who look good in branded clothing are the driver/navigator/service crew.

Even Dave Richards looks a dork [quite apart from the fact he needs a good shave and a decent haircut!].
