I think something else will "magically" happen at the Italian GP that forces Hamilton out of the results and hands Massa the win again.
I would be pretty pissed off if I was Massa though if he does go on to win the championship, say by only 2 points, he will know deep down that it was the unfair FIA penalty that gave him the championship and NOT any skill he has - that would really annoy me, I hate winning anything by default!!

I'd hate to see it happen but it wouldn't suprise me to see another dodgy bit of interferance from the FIA.
I'd hate to see Massa win in these circumstances, even though I'm a Mclaren fan Massa's been generally improving his performances to the point where he's put himself into contention for the title - the shame of it is if as Dream Weaver says he wins it now it'll forever be tainted

Going back on I said originally, if you think about it, doesn't the dirty side become the grippy side when it starts to rain? That's what all the teams and driver's say, hense them taking 'wet' lines through the same corner. It is quite possible that the only reason lewis had more grip at that corner was because he joined the main straight on the 'grippy' side. Hem wouldn't have done so if he hadn't cut the chicane. That is a fact that you cannot ignore.
the dirty side only becomes more grippy in the wet if there is a dry line on the racing line, this is because the intermediates overheat on the dry line so they go off line to cool them which brings them back into operating range thus giving more grip

Kimmi is OK in the wet, but not brilliant. Miles better than Massa though. My granny with slicks on her shopping trolley is better than Massa in the rain.

...... hmmmmm....I don't know the answer to this one, but has Hamilton actually lost a race in the wet?

But what does that have to do with the events of last Sunday? Or did you have your tongue up Hamiltons backside during the race?

The point is that DW and Les said they thought Massa was a good driver. I pointed out that he wasn't so good in the rain and wondered if he had ever won a race in the rain. It is widely accepted that a more skillful driver in an average car will do better in the rain than a crap driver in the best car. The reverse istrue in the dry.
You retorted with 'Hamilton Canada' - This had little to do with driving skill. It was a single split second error that cost him that race and more than likely a podium in the next race. He had another split second decision to make on Sunday. Do I crash into Kimmi and get another 10 place penalty or will I cut the chicane and then let him back past on the straight in accordance with the rules.
So I take it Massa has never won in the wet then

Right, so at this point you might like to conceed that Hamilton could have *easily* caught and overtaken Kimi in on the staight if he were behind him at the exit of the chicane.

He'll bring you down to his level then beat you with experience!
FFS, even Kimi says he didn't do anything wrong, yet dear old Chris obviously knows better then the current FIA F1 World Champion.

Right, so because Massa doesn't have a good rep for wet weather driving, Lewis should not have been punished for cutting the chicane? Do me a favour.
