You all keep changing your arguement!
I think youwill find that this is an off topic discussion - the other one has been done to death. We are debating wether Massa has talent or not. I see it is pishing in Monza....... Ferrari IA will need to get the race run behind the safety car....... although Massa would probably struggle to keep up anyway

Interesting

Drivers: Hamilton penalty didn't fit crime - F1 | ITV Sport

Exactly what I have been saying all week. The rules were broken but the penalty didn't fit the crime. He exposed himself to an investigation by the stewards. End of.

And the Stewards should have realised the implications of following up on the "alleged advantage"..and used their common sence, realised a 25 second (all they could issue at this late stage in the race) was too harsh... evaluated that Kimi had already put himself out of the race...and let it ride... but no...it was too good an oportunity to stick one on McLaren... thus our point (and the point of this WHOLE THREAD).. Ferrari OWN the FIA

You and many others were and still are saying that no rule was broken. I'm saying there was, but the punishment didn't fit the crime.

And I'm sure Alonso has no remaining animosity towards McLaren or Lewis after last year...

What has Bourdais and and Rosberg got against Hamiltonthen . Bourdais is a 4 time champ car champion. Make your own decision rather than listening what others say.

I am not trying to make you believe anything. There are perfectly valid reasons why Hamilton did receive the penalty, right or wrong. People on here are saying it was a completely unjustified decision. I disagree with that and I am not alone. You lot are all banging on about what he or she said, well, back at you if you really care.

So, let me get this straight, a load of mid grid and/or has-been, will-never-be-champion drivers that never get on the podium, plus LH's main rival Massa are having a go at Hamilton because he is on top in only his second year? Hmm

NO!!!!! - People are saying and thinking that the only reason it was even looked at was because it was to the benefit of Ferrari and the detriment of McLaren. What exactly did Kimmi think of it? None of the rest of them were there. They don't know who braked and how Kimmi's car was handling. The only two people who can actually say if Hamilton made the pass because of some magical physics defying momentum advantage or because Kimmi's car was behaving so badly in the wet are Lewis and Kimmi.

p.s. - Has anyone ever noticed how Massa never ever ever admits he was wrong?

Well that's that then, if Mr. Impartial himself says it was justified that's good enough for me

So you are saying that the penalty 'was' justified?

Oh, and by the way, it's 'Kimi'.

Damn was hoping this sport would make a turn for the better, obviously not.I gave up watching F1 some time ago not long after Hakkinen quit so some yrs ago..having watched the Hamilton replay, this is the kind of racing that would make me come back and watch it again, knuckle to knuckle stuff. This is motor racing not fooking over 60's grass bowling.let the guys go out there and race without fear of being penalized over a trivial thing..
