I think some of you "Ferrari loving FIA are not bias" peeps should watch this in pertucular
No one was penalised for this...
YouTube - Fuji 2007 Massa vs Kubica
It's called RACING
Let the drivers do their job (and what they're paid millions to do)

I like Massa, and Kimi, although Kimi is vastly over paid and over rated, as well as having no personality whatsoever and if they had any ***** at all they would stand up for what is right and tell the FIA to reverse the decision, same goes for Ferrari.
I never understand how people can get satisfaction from winning by having to cheat

This isn't some 'ego' boost as some put it. That is in itself a rather pathetic argument.
As regards to the telementry, have any of you actually seen it? Do you know if he backed off to aid traction or to let Kimi past. I don't know and you know, so you could argue that we are both speculating!

If you don't like what I say, put me on ignore, not difficult is it?

Don't know that the clip proves anything. but what a great piece of driving by both the drivers!

I know the 2008 title is still to be decided, but last year Hamilton clearly stated that he personally didn't want to win the title out of the dustbin on a technical appeal (Williams & BMW fuel temperature saga at Interlagos), when things had all gone wrong for him. I wonder when Massa/Raikonnen/De Montezumolo will make a similar statement and ask for the FIA to reinstate the winner at Spa, so that they can try and win the title fair and square?
Probably not in my lifetime!

Chris please stop your attention seeking trolling rhetoric.
That's all it is, your moment in the limelight.
Some of the "facts" you're coming out with are complete and utter drivel. For intance "the telemtry doesn't show Lewis lifting off it just shows he was slower". Of course it bloody will. If you're the oracle of F1 you claim to be you'll know for a fact that Mclaren will be able to tell the FIA the exact percentage he lifted off by for how many seconds or 100's thereof and by how much the car slowed down by over what distance.
Now please stop winding people up just for the sake of being the centre of attention there's a good boy![Smile](images/smilies/smile.gif)

Chris,
At 32 seconds.... Massa dives in (way too quick) with minimal overlap and not enough grip to slow down.... connects with Kubica (who quite rightly was following the racing line) and forces him off the track. Dangerous move number 1
Kubica rejoins in the 2nd half of the chicane and proceeds to claim the 2nd apex, Massa on the track (but behind) choses to go off the track to maintain his track position thus at 45 seconds, (even with Kubica a wheel in front) pushes him AGAIN off track (infringment number 2) Poor Kubica is now thinking WTF as he recovers from 2 outings into the countryside courtesy of mssr Massa but fair play..keeps his toe down where he sneeks back inside at 60 seconds... here he gives a little payback for his prior treatment and by luck more than judgement, Massa gets a better drive on the run off tarmac...
So I'm counting 2 penalty envolking deeds by Massa in 30 seconds in very dangerous conditions at quite spectacular speeds... only difference? the car dishing it out is RED.
I am surprised Kubica didn't end up with a penalty though
So we have 2 incidents, one at higher speeds, involving cars being driven off the track for track position... yet the only driver penalised is Lewis.

How did Massa brake to late when he actually made the corner?

Fine, ignore the question then. All of you jumping on the 'ferrari cheats' band-wagon is so boring, I just love watching you all try and defend yourselves. That video has nothing in common with what happened yesterday. Daz, you just shoot down anyone who disagrees with you, time and time again.
Very sad and not very constructive. Each to their own.
Like I said, put me on ignore. I am not the one doing the name calling.

Not at all Chris, but you more than anyone on here are the one ignoring the facts and the overwhelming opinion of the majority.
Not only that but you're saying that Nikki Lauder who knows more about F1 than you, I or anyone else on this forum could ever hope to is wrong too?
Now if you're so arogant to think that then you really are a prize tool that doesnt deserve any more response.

The whole point of this is not to aim anything at Ferrari, more at the FIA stewards for being blind idiots.
Although Ferrari are a bunch of muppets.

I just don't see the point of listening to anyone who doesn't have all the facts. Did you see the footage of when Lauda tried to drive a modern F1 car a few years back (when he worked at Jaguar I think)? He couldn't keep the thing in a straight line, spin after spin after spin. All I am saying is that stewards (who do make some strange decisions I agree) must have had something to back up their punishment.
How does that make me a prize tool?
The fact that Kimi's car was never fully ahead again after this incident does make one wonder about an unfair advantage. And that is obviously what the stewards thought too.
I don't often get involved in scoobynet debates as you just get shot down unless you 'follow the crowd'. Bollocks to that this time. I have followed F1 since 1992, never missed a race and attented 3 British grand prix's. I know a damn sight more than the average sunday afternoon fan.
It is very sad when most users on here get upset and abusive when the only brit with a chance, doesn't win. Get over it.

Yep I was right all along you're an idiot, and eveyone knows you can't win an argument against an idiot. You have afterall been to three GP's
Incedently my brother in law owns a composite materials company that supplies half of the F1 teams and I've been to more than a few GP's some home some abroad but I don't claim to know lots about F1 because I go to a few races.

If thats the case, and we are talking about gaps, does that mean next time someone is way out in front and the safety car comes out, they should have their 20 second lead reinstated ? lol
