Regarding Lewis Hamiltons case, i usually dispise anyone who plays the racial card but in this case i can't help thinking that this is a blatant case of discrimination.
Well, I may be just too stupid to undertand the point you are making. Run that by me again.

How, exactly is it discrimination?

I think you will find Schumaker got away with that incident and escaped punishment wining the championship. A few more facts:-
Spain 1997 - Schumaker tries to force Jacques Villeneuve off the track but ends up in the sand,
Malaysia 1999 - Both Ferrari drivers disqualified over illegal bargeboards after finishing 1st & 2nd. This gives title to McLarens Hakkinen but Ferrari win their apeal.
Italy 2006 - Flavio Briatore claims F1 fixed in favour of Ferrari & Schumacker after Alonso gets grid penalty for blocking Massa in qualifying.
Belgium 2007 - McLaren gets fined £50m and loose contructors points for the spygate on Ferrari.
2008 - Kimi gets away with a danergeous exhaust dangling from car. Plus almost colision in pit lane in the last race in spain.

Im sure theres more but fact seams to prove Ferrari could get away with almost anything as we saw on Sunday. McLaren gets the full force of the Fia punishment.

i would love to know what the stewards would have done if a mclaren driver ran over one of his pit crew, because he thought he knew better than the system they had, the FIA spend loads to keep the drivers safe, but wen a ferrari driver runs over one of his own people and put him in hospital he gets nothing??? are the pit crew not people too? i think if you do something stupid and put someone in hospital you get a penality too.

lets hope they win there appeal as the sport will end up being won and lost in qualifying as no overtaking will be allowed.
we get a man who for in a very long time isn't scared to overtake, making the sport worth watching again.
it's nothing to do with him being english, as any man that makes this sport worth watching again, since senna, should not be treated as bad as he has been, maybe it is to do with race, or just the fact he's an upstart and just want to show f1 is bigger than just one young man
one day he may take over from shumacher that cant do no wrong in the fia eye's, but we all have very short memories so when he does become champion this will just be a distant memory
