Lots more extras on an sti mate and are 265 standard. Then get it re mapped. You'l have well over 300 horses. Mines got the prodrive pack so was 305 after they done. I've put dump valve on so i reckon its bout 310. Just got my de cat so should be bout 330 after that.

the wr1 is a sti taken to prodrive and put a few extras on ,,and they are 320bhp standard ,,iv put a 3inch tsl exhaust on and its also got a sports cat so no probs with the mot , als oa green panal filter ,so should be about 330ish bhp,,
iv also put detangoed front lights ,scott lowe front splittle ,and a set of prodrive mudflaps on
iv also just had fit a 600 sound system

bugeye wrx is 215bhp and sti 261bhp
blobeye wrx is 221bhp and sti 265bhp

the prodrive pack on sti is sports cat, decat pipe and back box, uprated fuel pump and new ecu with prodrive map on prodrive class a sti ppp at 305bhp till 2003 then at 301bhp til 55 plate most ppp packs when rolling roaded are between 280 to 290bhp very rare one does the figures prodrive claim.

my advice is go sti as the wrx will be more expensive to tune as turbo, injectors and gear box and engine etc etc will limit power you can go to.
where as an sti 6 speed gearbox is fine til 500bhp plus
engines can tend to do 400bhp quite safely all depending on use and care etc.

also with an sti you can get power between 320 to 350 quite easy by changing exhaust either turbo back decat or with a sports cat down pipe, walbro 255 fuel pump, air filter k&n or green and remap and that will roughly cost £1000 to £1500

hello everyone

I'm still driving the 206 at the moment but i have been selling loads of bits off it to fund my Impreza kitty its now advertised as it is so fingers crossed ill have an Impreza soon.

I've also been busy setting up my own forum for petrol heads, i would like as many people as possible to join, we have loads of things in the pipe line like track day events etc, i will not put the link up because i dont want to p**s the boss guys off from this forum.

I did see a blue bugeye the other day tonking it up wakefield road it sounded awesome when it whizzed passed, i was going down and it was coming up near croften, just wondered if it was anyone on here ?

Quite a few around, but not all are on here, but they could be lurking....

Could have been Johnny, my near neighbour.

P.S. New-age STI motor is good for around 400 bhp ( I would say that !)
