I have just come in from Horse Riding - can you smell it?? corrr blimey!!
I just couldnt resist another look here - I have a plane to catch soon, so will make it quick!! As IF!!
I have taken the above comments by BumCrack and popped them into my file called,
'If you are up to your neck in muck and bullets - STOP DIGGING!!'
Its an ABSOLUTE classic example of someone disappearing up their own BumCrack!! Come on, he deserves a medal for chasing his own tail for so long!! I am in tears here, he is MUCH funnier than me!!
This is a great thread and one which should go down in history as one of the greats. The point about people on here KNOWING each other is SO correct ...... no-one knows what goes on behind the scenes on e-mail and in each others houses over a beer - I talk to plenty, give them abuse and help too - so? it just spills over on here ..... and its ACCEPTABLE to both parties.
Its when someone interprets whats happening in the wrong way and then steps into the ring that problems (only for THAT person arise!) they then complain to the moderators and it gets LOCKED off - not really in the spirit of the board is it?
A little example, ChrisL could post a thread saying that,
'pslewis has painted his wheels gold'.
pslewis hits back with a comment on the lines of,
'sod off you big fairy'
BumCrack sees all this, and hating pslewis with such venom says,
'pslewis grow up you weasel faced 4rse' or something
pslewis sees his chance and presses BumCracks button labelled 'WIND-ME-UP'
BANG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! we get a thread develop thats great for those 'in-the-know' but awful for those who have misread it completely ............ do they walk away?? NO - they MUST keep coming back for more and more

Some of the rudest people on this BBS are moderators - I read one threatening all sorts to someone who didn't like cats a while back.
Not a good example to set really, he really lost it.
As a new member at the time I was horrified, now I realise it is common on here for people to say stuff they'd never dream of to other's faces.
