Early 90's from work (Windows 3.11) then in '98 (Windows 98) from home on dial up. You had time to put the kettle on and make a cuppa while the page loaded in them days!

Other agree!

"Computer user Wayne Hayes insisted facts were only appropriate on the internet in the form of genuinely pornographic images of Gemma Atkinson, and not some second rate Photoshop nonsense."

I started out using my BBC B with acoustic coupler to link to Prestel back in the early to mid eighties.

Janet was great as it always had super fast downloads it was just a pain trying to split files using PKzip and copy them onto floppies to take home.

I think that makes him as sad if not sadder than me

Acoustic couplers were the invention of the devil, I hated the things. I was very happy when I got my shiny WS2000 with the power of 1200/1200. All connected to an Atari 800.
