Mick, don't worry, I would say I very much doubt you would hide behind an infraction, rather than speak your mind.

I hope I know you well enough to say your word is genuine.

Perhaps the infractor is someone who doesn't like conflict and won't argue their point. Time may tell. I hope it wasn't just a cheap shot, or a vendetta.

Take it to policy if needs be, but I respect you for giving it time.

Bit harsh that Nat21

Judging by that then I should be able to say 'I hope your mother dies' ... of course I do not hope that at all..... but hoping she dies is a bit harsh

So, everyone who falls into a category not liked by you should die??

There goes half the population..... and global warming will be reduced....

If you have had cancer then you will find that it is easy to sympathise with anyone else with it regardless of their personality.

I would not wish that on anybody!

It's disgusting that she is parading herself in the news about it - she is a prize tit imo! Nobody deserves to get news like her, but ffs have some dignity woman!

Very sad IMO.
Very true, there is no way they were worthy of infractions

I am also sick to death of hearing about Jade Goody and I wish she would just disappear (previously I would have said **** off and die but I don't think that would go down well at the mo ) Her going on the Indian Big Brother was another PR stunt and and just a money earner, she's driven by greed.

Compare her to Terry Pratchett (writer of Discworld novels) he has sold 55 million books worldwide, one of the most read authors in Britain and USA and is now dying of Alzheimers he has donated about £500,000 to help research (as it is poorly funded) the disease he will be long gone by the time they reach a cure .

Yet a man who has an OBE is not mentioned in the paper all the time but a fat, stupid cow gets the headlines.
No one deserves these diseases but she as sure as hell doesn't deserve this ****ing amount of attention.

Having just done the charity ride raising money for cancer care i have a lot of sympathy for the suffers. Jade however is rapidly using hers up by being all over the press with top class headlines like "i can't tell the kids" well isn't that just genius?

I agree that Max Clifford has set this up, i do think she has cancer but i think it was known before she went on Indian Big Brother.

Its blatentley being used to get her career back on track after the whole race storm thing.

There's more chance of me winning the Lottery (Which I don't play) tomorrow, than Jade actually having cancer and finding out on the Indian version of Big Bollocks. Whats more, I reckon the Euro Lottery (which again, I don't play) has more chance of coming in than her condition being 'worse than expected'.

Max knows his stuff - No Doctor will ever confirm or deny this crap.

A lovely PR stunt.

Agreed.

To be honest, I do not think a respectable PR person like Clifford, as much as you may hate to admit it he is very well respected in his field, would stoop to such levels!!

The over riding opinion seems to be that the infraction's were out of line.

I'll put up a post in Policy.

Didn't notice that you had also been infracted after I had.

I offered up the chance for the person who 'done' me to have a debate - didn't happen, so I've appealed.

Let's see what the out come is.

I'd be quite happy for him to respond if he thinks I spoke out of turn.

You raise a good point Suresh, it's against the rules to appeal for someone else that's been infracted. So by that you'd think you can't infract on someone else's behalf. Especially a non-member.

(Although you may be thinking the 1st infraction on this thread given to me, was the 1st one you viewed when scrolling down. The post you quoted got hit first, the preceding one got done later. None of my post's had been 'hit' at the time of typing the response you quoted).

Lurching back into topic

JG is a publicity creation. Famous only for being famous. Some would her a social leech. Existing only for fame and giving nothing in return.

She is now trapped in this circle of publicity - requiring it to 'survive', and unable to avoid it no matter what. She has no privacy, no life of her own. All she is, is what is printed and broadcast.

So she has cancer - a truly terrible thing and something I would not wish on anyone. Her 'life' such as it is now has something else to feed it. Scarily her cancer parallels her existence: feeding voraciously on whatever is available and growing with no control.

Did she know about the cancer before? Interesting question, and if she did - it'll come out and she'll be all sorry again and do some work for Cancer Charities.

Call me a cynic but it all seems too 'convenient'

However - whatever IS wrong with her: I wish her a speedy recovery.

Cutting.
It's also a term used by body builders etc.
It means to lose weight and fat.

This is where the infraction system fails.

There's more than 1 meaning to a post/comment. Depend's on how it's taken by the reader.
