I found a ten bob note on the pavement once when I was a child, it was so valuable that I took it to the cop shop.
They gave it to me after 3 months and it bought the groceries for that week and a little change!

Blimey, you must have been rich! I had to make do with thruppence. If I was lucky enough to get that.
Used to get four black jacks for an old penny or 2 ozs sherbit pips and suck them one at a time.
