For insurance try Keith Michaels. Mods don't seem matter that much for the premiums. Prices are very good.

I've been thinking the same for a long time. I want another Impreza and it will only be a weekender and the odd burn to work on a fine day when I can't be bothered to bike.

I don't really want to spend any more than £5K on a car that isn't going to be used that much. I'd love to spend 8+ on a P1 or Type R but I don't want it to cost a fortune for a "toy". A nice tidy UK car like an RB5 or something, look after it and don't abuse it and its not going to cost the earth to run it assuming something expensive doesn't let go.

I'll also be keeping it looking as standard as possible. I felt that once I'd stuck the big wings and spoilers on my old car, it had lost some of its class.

I,m after another one too, just sold my cossie this week and fancy a nice Classic RA, TYPE R, RB5 or something.

I miss my RA tbh, ok wasn,t as quick as the cossie in a straight line, but for a B road car is was SUCH a hoot to drive, and acceleration was nuts... you was @ 120 mph in no time...

When did you sell your RA Staffi?

I was parked opposite you at Japfest last year (I think). Surprised you sold it - its actually the version I ideally want (colour, the seats, roof vent, DCCD)

I'd be looking for the last of the classic shape, the my00 engine seems like a good one. We have a classic my00 wagon and I love it.. plus you get 4 pots and the nicer front end with the 99/00 model.

Have a look at mine mate as your only round the corner from me. Mines an import but as with most cars the HPI report etc wont tell you everything as claims aren't always made. It's not until you get chance to look around the panels etc for yourself that you can make your mind up.

Subaru : Impreza STI Version 3 with 300BHP (280 as standard

If you look at posts on here with people asking should they go for a UK/WRX or STI 99% of people say STI as you'll be spending the money you saved buying a 215/260bhp car into 280+ BHP.

Looks good, how much out of interest? Mines up for £3.5k for 2 weeks now and just had a load of young chavs on the phone and I know they won't get insured so don't give them the time of day.

Nice mate, is it UK? & what reg?

Does seem exceptionally low mileage but i'm sure as its one owner it'll have all the history to back it up. Best of luck with it.

At £30 an hour and he built this 10.89 mr2 with road tyres I think he's worth a call.
