At 46 I'd expect capitals and full stops too, but there you go. As you say nobody is perfect 
The point I was making, is the newbie could have simply looked around a little, realised quite obviously 'txt spk' isn't that common round these parts, and simply made a little effort in his original post. But he didn't and made no effort what so ever to make it legible; and I'm 24, so grew up in the 'txt spk' generation

Is it too much to ask for people to make legible posts? Or perhaps post drivel like this in a section other than "Members Gallery" where I expected to see a picture of an Impreza WR1 or something that MAY resemble an Impreza of some description?

Yes but he just asked a simple question, and everyone pretty much made him look like a c**t, people type how they feel to type, but some of you were quite harsh! plus if he's got enough cash to get one of them I'm sure he's not some burberry wearing barrowboy!

and i've only just turned 24 and have owned an array of expensive cars and not one of them financed, or bought with a loan, not all of us are like that! I don't wear caps anyway, nowadays you can hardly go anywhere with your hat on, even at my college you get escorted off the site if you have a hat on or a hood up. Mind though a hat wouldnt even fit over my hair how it is!

Some of us happened to get a good education and some of us did not, thats is no reason to give the guy a hard time.
I have used this site many years for info but only bothered to sign up because I wanted to use the better seach option so I have seen this happen many times before, this kind of response to new members is not needed.
Maybe you should stick to the pug forums instead of getting yourself all upset on here...

I h8 txt spk as much as the next person, but the way some of you have gone on is totally unacceptable. What next? Take the lad out and hang him from the nearest tree? He deserves it for writing in txt spk.........

I won't & have never had a "pop" at people due to text speak when typing replies on SNet ... it does give the impression though that said person can't use the Queens English which again suggests they're fairly low on the IQ scale. Just IMHO & doesn't mean that they do have a low IQ of course. Perhaps it's just a generation thing as it didn't exist when I were a lad!

Not that there is really anything u can judge a person on for having a leather interior anyway HOWEVER someone who deliberately posts in TXT speak and then asks a dumbass question as his 1st post, is asking for a grilling.
