Absolutely no need for them to be in the tv, all it does is give the ******* something to aim for when they drive around and crash stolen cars only to end up with a slap on the wrist.
Nobody says you have to watch it mate.

I was riding home from work the other day when I was nearly whipped off the push bike by the gulf stream of 2 unmarked imprezas and a marked vectra that flew by me and left me a bit . They were going like the clappers but I have a sneeky feeling that they were "testing" new toys - didn't look like a pursuit to me but then again it was a bit of a blur - gave them the scooby wave but they didn't respond .

Well said

I don't want to see celebrity policemen just the results of what they are there to do.

Sometimes these programs can educate to thieving ******* as to what level of insane driving will result in a pursuit being called off mid chase....just an opinion

A chase will never be called off though, that's why they use the chopper if it's available, rendering your point irrelevant

You obviously don't watch as much of this type of program as me they quite often call off chases when there is no air support (by the way I never mentioned helicopters you did!) and even after a lot of chases have reached there conclusion officers often comment as to how close they where "to calling it off at one point). Also quite often live video streams are relayed to a central control position (from pursuit cars not always choppers) who ultimately have control over how the pursuit will end....whether it be premature or not.

So, I think my comments where completely relevant and you are ignorant...again just an opinion.

Oh, and I have everal mates who work in Police control rooms who could verify this if you like

i think thats true, it does allow scum bags to see that they can pretty much get away with most stuff. a funny one i watched was when 2 lads were nicked outside a house with the alarm going off at 4am in the morning with burgling tools in there car, and they were let off. lol

Go on then, prove it.

I always thought a chopper would be called in especially if the crim was getting too dangerous. Anyway I did say IF air support was available

Again, I didn't state when the helicopter was called in to help, you keep mentioning the bloody thing...the footage that you see on the telly doesn't always come fom the chopper but more commonly the cars themselves as chases are usually quite short for one reason or another

A program dedicated to court results would be rather boring, don't you think?
