I agree , the whole Interceptor toss gets on my nerves. Get them off the telly and let them get on with what is a difficult and at time dangerous job.
Absolutely no need for them to be in the tv, all it does is give the ******* something to aim for when they drive around and crash stolen cars only to end up with a slap on the wrist.

I was riding home from work the other day when I was nearly whipped off the push bike by the gulf stream of 2 unmarked imprezas and a marked vectra that flew by me and left me a bit
. They were going like the clappers but I have a sneeky feeling that they were "testing" new toys - didn't look like a pursuit to me but then again it was a bit of a blur - gave them the scooby wave but they didn't respond
.

I don't want to see celebrity policemen just the results of what they are there to do.

i think thats true, it does allow scum bags to see that they can pretty much get away with most stuff. a funny one i watched was when 2 lads were nicked outside a house with the alarm going off at 4am in the morning with burgling tools in there car, and they were let off. lol

Again, I didn't state when the helicopter was called in to help, you keep mentioning the bloody thing...the footage that you see on the telly doesn't always come fom the chopper but more commonly the cars themselves as chases are usually quite short for one reason or another
