Hard to tell really. There are some very keenly priced bargains out there from people who HAVE to sell. On the other hand there are quite a lot of dreamers around when pricing up their cars for sale, some far and away above their true value.

there is a scoob for sale near me at the moment for £3000. Its a x-reg, in deep mica blue and its done 90.000 mls. There only mods i noticed is fmic and jap system. I went with a friend who is on the look out aswell, and it runs perfectly. The only thing that put my friend off was the owner has changed the front bumper due to cutting it wrong for the fmic and has not painted the new one. My friend has decided to wait for the January sales. If you are interested i can get contact details for you, the car is located in Stanford-le-hope in Essex.

One question I'm asking myself is - if an MY99/00 UK car is looking at 3.5 to 4 K.
And a special like an STI RA is looking closer to 6K - is it worth the difference?
The STI RA is going to cost more to insure and more likely to throw a wobbly than the UK. BUT the STI RA is more of a fun car and much more of an "event" to drive - I would imagine having never driven one.
