Cool

I bet nobody on here can outdo our total menagerie though. It changes on a frequent basis, but currently we have the following:

The two working gundogs pictured on page 1

1 cat

11 bantam chickens

Approx 80 ornamental ducks

2 Dexter cows

6 Llanwenog sheep

1 pony

Oh, and around 1000 goldfish split between two ponds

Worked out well. For everyone lol

Cheers DD, lovely cut on her head, thanks to a careless dew claw from the mally monster Tuvaaq (now 29" to the shoulder and growing lol) But no drama, and healing well.
Rescue seemed the right thing to do

RMA, they dont need quite as much attention or time as some would believe. But do like space, and a good run. Tend to free run them for an hour a day, then walk them for 4 miles a night.
The rest of the time they have a nice chunk of the garden to make their own.

Thanks for the info - I know a few people by me who have Huskies etc & say they cant let them off the lead as its their natural instinct to run (sometimes off!)

If i was gonan get any dog in the future, it would be one like yours

In that respect huskies and Malamutes (my breed) are the same, and are best kept on the lead. Thankfully Crystal Palace Park has a lovely area which is all fenced off, but you can access. So we run them in there free and off the lead.

Mals tend to be a little more settled than Huskies, but also tend to get a fair bit bigger. Tuvaaq is now around 44-45kg, and only just entering the filling out stage of growth. So is heading to be around 52-55kg when finished (which is quite big for the breed (non working))

As for the running, they are fantastic to watch run, but only in enclosures lol. They come back eventually, but in their own time.

But as a whole they are a challenging breed, keep you on your toes, get lots and lots of attention where ever you go, and adorable, not always seeking attention.

Sadly I cant take credit for that pic, that was my friend Clive Larner who is genuis as you can see.

Is a superb pic though, have it is super high res I think some posters will be getting made soon

Went on a walk at the weekend with 10 others, and Tuv is without a doubt one of the biggest of the bunch. Gonna be exceptional when he is fully grown.

She is an Alaskan Malamute like Tuvaaq
lol sorry, could not resist, her name is Aanaga

The look on the boxers face is almost identical to Tuvaaq's face this morning just after biting through an extension lead!

Thats my dog collection complete for the years ahead

She is just at the age where she is working things out, like..... stop walking when weeing, and daddy's trainers are NOT for eating.

Marty

Killer

Dorthy and LaLa

Bella

As you can see Killer is in a different tank to the rest. You can guess why due to his name!
