There will be a point when somebody will knock on 10 downing Street and a new law will be introduced to cure this problem, no doubt about that at all.Too many people sending in bull**** claims, for non existant problems. Also too many claim and compensation ads and they show how incredibly wrong and rediculous this problem is.

I totally agree.

It's disgusts me that these imports are getting god knows what in freebies, yet me and my fiancee (I've worked all 6 years since leaving education, Mrs 3), have to wait for upto 2 months just for a astid application for a small benefit while I'm out of work due to someone elses actions.

It makes me sick it really does. In my personal circumstance, all I am looking for is a little help while I am unemployed, yes a little financial, but certainly not £13,000 a month for rent/mortgage

You go to the jobcentre and are treat just the same as every other money grabbing chav/foreigner in there. All I personally want is a little help getting work something I don't mind doing.

Bollocks to those *******, get them in some ptotato factory working all hours for £5.83 an hour, then see how long they wanna stay here in peace and harmony. How dare they complain about keeping their poor 7 bedroom abode clean.

Tell you what... I'll do a swap, they can have my house which in it's entirety has 7 rooms, and you can treat it how you like. Keep ******* donkeys or 'dirka dirka mohammed jihads' (Team America) in it for all I care, and I'll clean a 7 BEDROOMED house tidy, while sponging £100's a week.

If I'm infracted and banned for the above, it's been a pleasure knowing you lot.

I'd hazard a guess that there are many more "home grown" spongers sucking endless amounts of our hard earned down the toilet and not just in benefits.

What a lovely thread, lots of meantions sending people back home, being whote, and the that only benefit scum could disagree, nothing like mob mentality is there?

Of course it is a ridiculous amount of money to spend. It is a ridiculous situation. But look at the story.
First, the woman hasn't come over here on the last boat, she has been here for the last 7 years. During that time has she been paying taxes? We have no idea, the story does not say. For all you know she could have been a model tax payer.

Second, By the sounds of things, she has British citizenship, which, guess what, make her an dher kids as British as anyone in this thread.

Third, she is reported as say *She* thinks the amount being spent is crazy - She agrees with you. She made a claim after being made homeless, and the council has sorted her out - Blame the lack of council housing, rather than the person that made the claim.

Forth, this is a newspaper report, there will absolutely be some aspect of the story that have been omitted or given undue prominence in order to make it seem as outrageous as possible.

I don't think anyone can say that this is a sensible move, but the circumstances have lead the woman to be in this situation. It is not "typical" of this country or anything like it.

There is 1 bonus here...

At least the house was given to an Afghan family and not some lazy workshy chav infested English family.

Landlord is clearly taking the michael with his demands and the local councillers who agreed need to be publically lynched by the taxpayer.

What a fookin stupid thing to say! Never heard so much crap in all my life. This is England not Afghanistan! I don't agree with spongers of any type, white, black, brown, yellow, green .... whatever but get a grip man, how can that be a bonus?

Think about it for a moment, it really is not that hard

Move a trouble English family into the area and watch the estate fall to pieces within a matter of months. The Afghan family will no doubt be polite, very greatful and they probably wont cause 1 ounce of bother.

Then in direct comparison, compare that to a typical troublesome non working scrounging English family. The types that will have all night parties, drugs, vandalism, no respect for anyone or anything.

You get the picture

So im glad this has been given to an Afghan family over a troublesome English 1. 110%

I have seen what trouble families do to nice estates, i remember a really nice development in Caversham, Reading actually. All new housing, remained a very pleasant area to stay for the 1st 18mths.

Now it resembles Beirut due to the council big wigs homing all the trouble families there. Unkept lawns, boarded up windows, shi**y clapped out cars, rubbish galore..you get the picture.

It only takes a couple of these families together to cause havoc and bring down an area.

My point was made in direct comparison to this kind of family and i bet your bottom dollar 99% of the population bar the racists would prefer an Afghan family next door than that of a drug taking workshy chav infested 'English' family.

See it's not that hard

There are that many foreigners in this country nowadays that i am past caring where they come from to be honest.

A lot of foreigners can be a lot nicer and a lot more respectful than a lot of the scummy locals, so I'd personally rather have and support the foreigners, and ship out the scummy locals

Hence my point, that im glad this went to an Afghan family

But the sponging Brits aren't shipped out. So this adds further to the tax burden we already carry.

Does it not?

What other qualification is there of being British is there then, other than holding a British passport, say?

I mean to get a British passport, you have to be British citizen.

I mean in the eyes of the law, you don't get people more British than others. You are either British, or you aren't.
I mean the Queen for example, is of German descent, Is Prince Philip Greek or British would you say? And are you more British than either of them?

The landlords comment at being paid £12K a month.

"I can't help it if the law says I should be paid this much"

LOL, bet it keeps him awake with guilt every night!

At these levels you just can't take it seriously.

Its quite simple, our economy and infrastructure cannot support the people who are here, so its time to close the gates for a while, I am all for a bit of diversity and people who bring benefit to come here but have you ever been to a club, where the doormen say they are full and you cant go in due to regulations, for safety, well the UK is bursting with people to the point the systems start to break down and the money runs out to help all these people and support their differening demands and cultures.

Why do people come here, its like has been said before, you cant blame them, its the land of milk and honey, free health care, free housing, free money, well durr its a no brainer.

Its time to get strict on who comes in and if anyone is caught and not meant to be here, its the first plane home, like I would expect if I was found to be illegal elsewhere.

I have paid my whack into this system, it isnt free, every year, thousands of pounds and I get irked if myself or a member of my family needs something and have to wait on a list thats full of recent arrivals, I dont tolerate people queue barging anywhere else why should I when it comes to health and education ?

She's been here 7 years Jacko, its not like she turned up last week. And we have no report at all as to her situation prior to being made homeless. For all we know she could have paid in more in tax than you and I combined.

She could also be a drug baron smuggling in the talibans finest green.

Sorry, but how many wealthy Afghan people do you know of that turn up at council offices homeless looking for accomdation in a 76 bedroomed mansion

Don't tell me Pete, you have many Afghan friends

Lots of racist/anti immigrant type remarks coming through on this thread! I'd like to think they're being made by people with a low IQ who have little (or no) influence in today's society.

Nope, this is scoobynet - get used to it .

It seems strange for somebody like C Brian to attack another unfortunate person that is also struggling to cope on benefits. The flaw here is the law for allowing the landlord to claim so much rent in the first place!

There's more than one flaw.

Another is that there are so few council houses left due to them all being sold off - forcing councils to pay silly money for private rentals.

Oh, and mass, unchecked immigration too

Or is it that C.Brian may feel slightly grieved, due to someone who has lived here for 7 years getting preferential treatment to someone that was born here.

Would you not?

There is far more than one discussion to be had in this thread i think.

Firstly Nacro, thankyou for not calling me chocolate_no_brians. It means a lot, it really does

Secondly, I haven't actually had one penny in benefits, and probably will not do so for the next 8 weeks or so, until I have had various interviews and medicals to substanciate my claims of incapacity. I hazard a guess the lady in question didn't have as much red tape to cut through in her persuit of benefits.

It is also worth mentioning, that dispite my condition, I am still actively looking for employment. Indeed if you hadn't have been banned recently for your usual outbursts, you may have seen my thread requesting information on a Design Engineer position which I have applied for.

I don't recall saying in any of my previous posts that I have actually recieved anything in terms of financial gain from the jokers which are the governemnt.

Thankyou for you time

Much love

Terry Tibbs.
