My dad was a corporal at 19!

I was born in 1980, and my dad would be 72 if he was still with us!

So, the latest he could have fought in WW2 was 1945, say.

The youngest the could have been was 18

So if he was 18 in 1945, he would have been born in 1927

However, if he would have been 72 now - then that means he would born in 1936, and in fact be 9 when WW2 ended.

So, he was either

-A child soldier
-Put in cryogenic freeze at some point
-Actually managed to stop time by taking unfeasible amounts of acid in the 60's

some real nonsense being said on here.

to put things into perspective- I work for a massive housing association.

30,000 properties.
80% of tenants are sat on the dole. That's your good ole honest hard working white people.

whay are some of those estates no go areas----- er well the pikey white chavs smash the **** out of them.

we house plenty of aslyum seekers-- they couldn't be happier or more grateful to live in the appalling accommodation we have--- the crap left over because the white community have ruined the area.

go on- meet someone from these countries, listen to their lives, have a look at the scars on their backs where they've been whipped...... 10 out 10 for making it here and lets hope they have a good life, contributing to our society. I sure as hell can't see the "English" whomever they might be doing it currently.

we forget we have the highest teen preganancy rate in europe as leticia keeps popping them out to jordon when he drops his trackie bottoms. who pays for that then ?

the point you've all missed- is the ridiculous house prices- that force rents to be what they are. that lady has nothing to do with it.

At first, I thought that this was a script for "goodness gracious me".....but I guess I was wrong.

If she wants to have 7 children (or however many it was), then she should make sure she has the funds to raise 7 children (not from the government). Probably a ***** that got banged by a load of afghans....

Now, im not usually racist, but when they abuse their rights, then I will be racist!

And as for the sons, shame on them, they should be working, living on their own, if not, f*ck of back to afghanistan!!!!! Same goes for the mother. Harsh, but true.

Also the landlord seems like a selfish *******, who on earth pays 12grand a month, for a house with a nissan micra out front...... Ive been in one of londons finest High rise apartments and even that wasnt 12k a month. The landlord is like one of those retards who believes the parkers car pricing guide..... Just cos they say so, it must be so.

My gran lives in alperton (pretty close to acton) and the people who live at her house pay like £40 a week...... even though her house is worth over £500,000

Are you serious? How about they start making changes for the better in their own countries. Not easy, tough - oh, I forgot, much easier just to freeload off the good old British taxpayer instead.

I have no issue contributing to my society, and welcome supporting those less fortunate than myself!

and I probably pay far in excess of most in tax!

Well done - a cake for you.

I hope you get the thanks you deserve for paying more towards the welfare state than most....

Thanks are not necessary FP, I do my best to support the needy and have no problems with contributing my fair (and rather substantial) share. One day you may thank me for providing you with that financial "catch net", should you, like the Afganistan lady, require access to it.

I wonder if people actually bother to let the government know they aren't happy?
It would be interesting to find out how many of the posters on here have contacted their MP's regarding the issue. Anyone? (not being sarcastic BTW, just genuinely interested.)

I was merely being sarcastic at your claim to pay more tax than the rest of us.

Don’t be so sensitive

I am not "he" I am "me", simple really! But don't let your paranoia get in the way of the facts.
