Site Running SOOOOOOOO slowly !

Unbelieveably slow! Has been for 3 days now for me, on and off. Actually can't be bothered to wait around for it to load. It's like going back to using a 56k modem!!! 
I'd be pretty peeved if I paid for this slowness

Is PassionFord slow as well? If I recall IB own/run both sites, and possibly from the same suite of servers, thus it could be the web hosting that is causing the slowdown rather than ScoobyNet per se.

How long would it take admin just to post a quick message, here or in Bugs, just to say they are aware of problem and new battery, or whatever, is coming tomorrow? Just plain courtesy dl

It's ben mad slow for me for the last few days.
I don't come here a lot tbh and I'm not a paid up member but.......
If I was I would be complaining - not just because it's slow but because it's been slow for a while and admin don't seem to have commented or done anything about it.

I pondered leaving this site as it is now getting rubbish in its content and running.

I agree, but while the infraction seems crazy we all know that being mildly abusive and/or swearing these days in posts brings out the big infraction stick. We can debate the policy around that all we like, but it doesn't detract from the fact that it is the way things are round here.

Doesn't make it right f1. The site has been poo of late. What do we say, "oh dear, it's not good on here, is it". or "FFS sort it out".

) so know the score and have seen the changes over the years.What I am saying is we have two issues here. 1) the site's bugs and lack of administration, 2) the infraction system's rights/wrongs.
We need to try and find a way of sorting 1) that doesn't trigger the infraction stick IMO and then maybe we can try and do what no one else has been able to do and tackle 2) the infraction system
Sorry if you feel I was in any way saying we should lie down and take it. I'm not. When the search doesn't work I get mad - I have paid for it and when no one can be bothred to even look into it or let us know they are I want some answers hence my post in Admin
