chargespeed is chav end of.
chav is a lifestyle, not an expression of wealth.
Would anybody deny that multi million pound winning Michael Carrol is a chav?
Shaun, takes one to........

Serega,
I have a Cosworth engine already.... so should I put this one in the boot and go twin engine?![Wink](images/smilies/wink.gif)
Personal preference is one thing, but then researching true facts about what is and what is not possible is my preferred option.
Whilst I would never say I will experience any problems with my block, I doubt I could ever say anything different even if it was linered. What happens, happens. But so far so good with over 8k (and that includes a mix of track use, both public and competition), running around 530bhp/550lbft. Although my block has been modified post delivery from Cosworth and pre install in to car (but not with liners).
More than one way to skin a cat and I certainly have never seen evidence that suggests either way is full proof.
You pay your money and take the risks.![Smile](images/smilies/smile.gif)

I have researched alot of information on that topic and i would personally never run what you are running and feel safe as you do. I have personally opted for the closed deck 2.35 build but i know alot of people who run relinered 2.5's and some of them are running over 600hp - would you run your unlinered block at over 600hp for long ?

serega,
Yes I would run at 600bhp+ on my current engine, if I had the need to. In fact I hope to get somewhere near approaching that, having my current set-up mapped for VP Import.
600+bhp has already been run without ANY liner issues on this Cosworth engine in Litchfields TA winning car during 2006. With 90% of it's use for the Time Attack Championship in 2006, being nailed within an inch of it's life.![Big Grin](images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Like I said, nothing is full proof when trying to extract 500+ from these puny engines, so I am under no illusion.
Peanuts,
You have lost me on that one!

Shaun, I lost myself to be honest ![Wink](images/smilies/wink.gif)
I meant that you managed to put together a whole paragraph that seemingly said nothing at all, typical actions/behaviour of Westminster's finest.
vis a vis, concordedly etc![Stick Out Tongue](images/smilies/tongue.gif)
