Mine hit's the limiter when I'm pressing on up through the gears... still not used to it cutting in so quickly having run high revving n/a motors for some time. But the rev limit is there for security, if it should be 500rpm lower the factory should set it that way. I often wish I had the jdm 2.0 that rev's properly!
Sorry, just to add. Increasing the rev limit and going beyond factory limits I would not condone unless the motor is uprated otherwise you should reasonably expect problems.

I'm always hitting the limiter as it just gets there so quick. You would normally expect to see the power start to drop off before you get there but it feels like they have it set only just after peak power so you don't get that 'it's time to change gear' feeling. Looking at the Prodrive details they have dropped everything down the rev range, hopefully giving it a little more room to feel the need to change.
Increasing the limit by 500 rpm should not make a difference but I think what is being said is that there are other things in the ECU related to the limiter, that the US tuners have not picked up, that are leaning off the engine above the limiter regardless of the map.
Paul.

So am I right in assuming, the PPP kit consists of the same exhaust (or just b/box) as the 330S?
And how do Subaru UK garages feel about fitting PPP's to the Euro import cars?
