Spec C Internals??

Pete,
I can't say yet... depends if the car is all OK and the mapping is finished today. I am going up to Tracktive in the next couple of hours and the intention is to carry on with the mapping when I get there. First impressions were promising when we completed a couple of hours of road mapping on Wednesday night, but I need to be 100% happy with the car before bringing it back home today. As there is no point in running the car tomorrow, if it is not.
I will let you know later, on this thread, if the car returns with me later today.
Paul,
Follow me around a track?! No problem following my car, but you may get more out of that, if I draft another driver in. We will have to sort something out and attend a track day somewhere, with Rob as well. Would be a good crack.
As regards to the car being very quick..... we'll see. I just hope this will be the first step of the turning point for this car.

A number of things, but mainly a different turbo spec (slightly bigger) and uppipe. The previous turbo expired and it looks like a long standing issue (now found) has been the reason why the car was not as quick as it should of been down the 1/4m. The turbo did not fail because of a manufacturing fault, it failed because of another underlying issue.
Hopefully it is all sorted now (he says lol).
As long as it all checks out OK, I will be getting a race fuel map (circa 50bhp increase) along with flat shifting enabled in the near future. I also have something else up my sleeve to put on, but we will wait and see what happens with initial tests on the current set-up first.

ran the car at 2.5bar today, and it got 485/550 at the hubs on v power. no det and fine egt. Have turned the boost down to 2bar, as we ran out of time and we need to do a few things for reliability.

Rob,
That was on a much lower boost setting @ 1.7bar. We did not have enough time last night to get the high boost setting sorted for permanent use. Car is going back to Rich to get this all finished off. Was just set to run in "safe mode" for the RR day today, as we did not get away until 7:45pm last night! lol

My gt3076r made 523bhp on a dd,,
@ 2.0 bar, going up to 2.2 bar this week,
just waiting for 1000cc injectors
Off to pod next week,
I have done a 11.5 @121.5mph with a 1.8 60ft
If i get the 60ft down, might get an 11.2
Hopefully ,, all on stock pistons, just up rated rods

Pete,
Sorry missed your question.
The car acheived the higher figures on a standard position GT30 turbo and VPower. The torque related to 2.5bar and the power related to either 2.3bar or 2.1bar (I can't remember). Based on the difference between the hub figures and what I achieved on the Dastek RR yesterday and a comparative run at Tracktive on Saturday (using a 15% difference), this should equate to a flywheel figure on a Dastek of 550+bhp on that high boost run.
Managed 498.5 / 523 yesterday at much less boost of 2bar peak and 1.7bar for peak power. Again on VPower.
Car will now be remapped again (now time is not against us), aiming to get power back to levels seen during the high boost runs.
