Cool

A friend of my Dad's is having a fireworks evening on Saturday November 15th in Burstead (just outside Brentwood). It's being held on his farm for The Brentwood Land Rover Club (my Dad is the chairman).

Daddy Quick has invited the ESC (remember the last one Tiny ).

7pm kick-off

Elmshaws Farm
Tye Common Road
Little Burstead
CM12 9SB

CM12 9SB - Google Maps (thanks Mark )

It's a free event, you only need to pay for food and drinks (only tea and coffee available as they are all old f@rts) if you want any (burgers etc...). If you fancy bringing your own fireworks to add to the evening, then that would be cool! Also bring any soft drinks you want for the kids (Dazza ), or the lightweights (Ross )

The farm is between Brentwood and Billericay (not too far from the Halfway House).

Stick your names down (kids, wives, partners etc.... all welcome).

Sounds like a plan Slim, only if people want too though, no pressure

Rick from the LR club has got £600 worth of fireworks for £300, so should be fairly good, but as the saying goes "the more BANGS, the merrier" (easy tiger!)

Dazza Fawkes

As said earlier Dazza, there's no need to pay for anything other than food and drink, they don't want any money for the evening, but I'm sure they won't turn it away

I'm not gonna chip in with money, I'm going to contribute a few fireworks instead, try and shoot down any low flying kiters that maybe about

Right guys, I'm over my parents right now and Dad has asked if anyone has wood to burn, can they bring it along, or I can try and pick it up during the week if possible. They have plenty at the moment, but as is always the case "the bigger the fire, the better"

I've just collected £100 worth of fireworks to add to the current artillary

Would be good to see the Scoob Slim, don't think I've seen it since before WRC

I was going to take the Focus but if people are bringing their Soobs then it would be rude not too

I'm working nights this week right next door to a woodchip yard, which I have access to. If you can get some transport to Rainham (Essex) between 19:00 & 04:00 I can sort you out with some pallets.
Let me know,
Paul.

Nice one, thanks Paul, will get back to you about it as I'm working nights but only Last night and tonight this week. Do you know if a few pallets will fit in a Focus hatchback with the seats down?? I've only had it a few weeks and only ever had my mountain bike in there so far.

My Dad and I sold our own Land Rovers years ago so not got a "proper" car for it
