As my mate used to say "She's got a good face for radio" !!!

I never got to hear the show, but Martin and Su always bring a smile to my face during the morning. I love their tongue in cheek sense of humour!
I bet some boring old **** with nothing better to do has made a complaint over a comment on air. If this is the case then I suggest in future he / she tunes into Radio 4 in the future.
Always the minority that spoils it for the majority.
Im sure im not the only one that is right behind you Martin and Su, if your not back on air soon im sure im not the only listner that will boycott Essex FM.
Bring back Martin and Su.
I guess that Essex FM are loving the free publicity!!!!!!!!!!!

Slightly off topic....
I'm quite sure that "Sue" might be the off-spring of a very high profile director based here...
I might ask them what happened?

I heard the show on Friday and wondered if they would get any complaints about it. ![Lol1](images/smilies/lol1.gif)
I've been "trialling" Essex Fm for the last couple of weeks after many years of listening to Capital fm.
I might be going back.

Hoping he was dead is a bit extreme, even for you.
But i'm sure one day you'll get older like the rest of us, and then your preferences and opinions will mellow. Mine have, mind you I still listen to hard rock first thing in the morning

The whole site would stop & huddle round the nearest radio all in anticipation for a wicked sob story

I shall venture even further back to the good old days of Pirate Radio. A lot of it started & grew from around the east coast. I used to listen to Radio Caroline in the 70's which had then been renamed as Radio North Sea International. They had employed some DJ's who became very much loved household names (in their day). Those names include: Roger (Twiggy) Day, Simon Dee, Johnnie Walker, Keith Skues, Dave Lee Travis and Roger Scott. We won't mention Tony Blackburn.
Radio Caroline was so popular that within months of going on air the station had more listeners than BBC radio.

No nowt wrong with nostalgia OR guilty pleasures LOL. I was born in 79 and so grew up with 80's music - thought i was dead cool wearing legwarmers (which is now quite in fashion again LOL), and shell suits were "ace" LMFAO.
However, guilty pleasures......
I did have a thing for 60's music (still do LOL) and used to play my dad's RECORDS and sing along to "my ol' mans a dustman" and "run around sue" - my folks will never let me forget that to this day
However, guilty pleasures......
